Why Do I Over-do It?

Last week I was walking through the parking lot at work with my friend when my foot got caught on some corner and I fell. Not graceful at all. I didn't think anything about it until my foot started hurting yesterday. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with my fall (since I fell on Wednesday and it didn't hurt until Tuesday), but I did start my afternoon walks again on Monday. Oh, and did I gently ease my body into the full 2.2 mile walk? Of course not. I went full force into my walk both days - even after my foot started to hurt yesterday. Needless to say, I'm in a lot of pain. My foot is killing me. I'm trying to use my oils and elevate it, but I'm thinking that today I might have to pass on the walk. Darnit. I'm a self-improvement kick and really need to get my butt in gear. Luckily, McFamily said I could use the pool at their condo, so perhaps I'll resume swimming. I love swimming. That's a good plan.
