Top Five Draw Somethings of the Day

Cutest. Picture. Ever.

After the amazing Dana Carvey experience last night, I had time to spare and was in the neighborhood, so I decided to stop by for a quick visit with my brother's family. Adorable little Owen made me this sweet picture. I LOVE it! Have you ever seen anthing cuter? How sweet is this little face?

Princess Ava.
Princess Ava and her kissy face.
Adorbs! So fun to see everyone! :)

Pinky's Fandance - Dana Carvey

I am SO SO SO excited! I've been a Dana Carvey fan forever and I'd always wanted to meet him. Last night I finally got my chance, as he performed a show at the Irvine Improv.
I'd never been to the Improv there before, but my friend had told me where the stage door was and after some mis-steps, I finally found my way to the right spot and even met a fellow fan who helped show me the ropes. Dana drove in shortly before the show and could not have been nicer. I'd made him a birthday card since his birthday is on Monday and he was stoked! He was like, "Of course you can have a picture after the card!" YAY! Love him!

Look At That Sweet Face

Awwww, I just love him so much.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Monday Edition

Hello and welcome to Monday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. Is she trying to look like a varicose vein? Nailed it!
Why are they both fully clothed? Did they not know they were going to a waterpark?
WTF is that?
Oh, no. So, we're still sticking with that hairstyle Ben? Ugh. That's too bad.
Someday all three kids will be together....

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

New Duran Duran Tour Dates!

The good news: Duran Duran has (finally!!!!!!!!!) announced more US tour dates later this year. Wahoo!!!! To be back on the same continent as Nick Rhodes?!?! Mark me down for a YES. The bad news? I didn't see any LA tour dates - or anywhere slightly in the vicinity of LA. Closest two cities? Saratoga, CA and Tempe, AZ. GAH!!! Obviously, I'm going to have to take a road trip. Curses! But, you know, it's all for the love of my boys....

Pinky's Fandance Redux - Patricia Heaton

The first time I met Patricia Heaton, she was so ridiculously nice. She told me I was the first "Tweaton" I'd ever met. Wahoo! I was able to see her again at The Middle event earlier this week. I loved her new haircut! And I'm happy to report she was just as nice as before. Luckily I'd already met Atticus Shaffer (who plays Brick Heck on the show) because unfortunately he didn't come over and see the fans. Not sure why (especially after they said he would), but maybe something else was going on.

When I Was A Girl....

This morning my friend changed his relationship on Facebook to being married. Now, I don't really think he is - perhaps it's some sort of early April Fool's prank (which is LAAAAME) - but it got me thinking about Facebook and how dangerous it would've been when I was a teenager. Thank goodness it wasn't around, because I would've gotten into so much trouble it isn't even funny. I can't even begin to imagine the drama that would've gone on. Ugh. Of course, when I in high school, there were only three major technological advances that were significant: First, the answering machine. Oh, the joy of hearing a voice message for the first time and seeing the beeping red light! I kind of miss that sometimes.Next, call waiting. Not only was I lucky enough to have my phone line in my room (due to excessive hogging of the main phone line), but I even got call waiting. How fun to be able to have the "call waiting war" to see who'd win. Of course, there wasn't Caller ID yet, so you just took your chances when you answered the phone, so switching over to the other line was like a fun surprise every time. :)
Finally, the CD player. I still remember the first time I ever drove with someone who had a CD player (IN THEIR CAR!) and showed me how they worked. I was mesmerized and loved listening to Depeche Mode with such clarity. We sat there forever just to hear the tunes. Awwww, memories. :)

Celebrity Wrap Up - Sunday Edition

Hello and welcome to Sunday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. Holy hotness, Batman. Yowsa.
Why is B dressing like she's on a permanent vacay in the Bahamas?
I can't decide which is worse - Ashlee's jacket or Minka's pants.
This is a prime example of when bad clothes happen to good people.
I realize Ri-Ri thinks she's undeniably hot, but this shirt seems a *wee* bit on the nose, don't you think?

Top Five FAILS of the Day

Everything Looks Better With Glitter

It's too bad I don't work in a profession that encourages glitter usage (like being a stripper or something - ha ha) because there's nothing I love more than glitter. We all know I use a fancy lotion that contains glitter, so my skin is already sparkling every day, but now I've found something to make my eyes pop, as well. My dear friend Lindsay from http://www.iamnotastalker.com/ has been rocking these glitter eyelids for awhile and every single time she wears it I'm filled with jealousy. Where did she get those gorgeous glitter lids?!!?! Turns out they're from Sephora - the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner collection to be exact.Of course I had to copy her and order my own stat. I got the pink color (surprise!) called "Groupie" - could it be more perfect for me?!?! I think not. Now I just need to branch out and get a few more colors - white and blue perhaps? I'd love to rock the eyes above!
Also cool? This glitter hairspray! Yep, that's right - soon I'm just going to be one bright twinkling light walking around. :)

Pinky's Fandance - Charlie McDermott

Charlie McDermott plays Axl Heck on ABC's hysterical sitcom, The Middle, and he's perfectly cast in his role. Oh, what am I talking about? They're ALL perfectly cast! :) Charlie was also super fan friendly, which I always appreciate. Very cool indeed! :)

Blunt Cards Rule

There's this awesome website called Blunt Cards (www.bluntcard.com) which has the funniest cards. Here's a few of my faves:
