Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

FYC / Watch This: Better Things

So, I know I say this a lot, but we just saw a show that really blew our socks off. Seriously, Better Things is one of the best shows I've ever seen.
Being as it's in its third season, I know I'm late to the party here. For a long time I've been hearing how great it is, but there's a lot of good TV out right now. Who can watch it all?
Still, I'm definitely going to make this a priority. I LOVE it. Keith LOVED it. We went home and immediately found a way to watch every episode. I'd even buy them if I had to (thankfully I don't, but I would!).
The panel was really amazing. Considering we see A LOT of panels, it takes a lot to stand out. This one was really neat.
The show is a semi-autobiographical look at Pamela Adlon's life with her three daughters. IT IS SO GOOD!!! Check it out if you get a chance.

Pinky's Fandance - Greg Cromer & Diedrich Bader

I love when bonus cast members show up at FYC events (or just events in general). Last night there were three bonus cast members in the audience (plus one bonus celebrity not on the show in attendance).
Greg Cromer & Diedrich Bader are both on Better Things (with Diedrich also being on our fave American Housewife) and do a great job. So fun getting to chat with them a bit in the lobby!

Flashback Fun

The other day I logged into Facebook to learn that I'd been tagged in some pretty epic photos. As these were the first time my hubby had ever seen either photo (both are from my college days, circa 1992), here are his first reactions:
"What on earth is going on with your hair here?" Apparently he's not into triangles???
This was an unfortunate Glamour Shot. Keith's reactions to this one were the best:

  1. What JonBenet shot is this?
  2. Was Delta Burke your style icon?
  3. Never show me this picture again.

Celebrity Wap Up - Tuesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Tuesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Whoo, boy. I'm not sure how Jen ever let that one go.
Nothing like wearing all black and sunglasses to not draw attention to yourselves.
Egads! Why would Alanis do this to herself?!?! BLECH.
She looks like she's playing dress up.
So nice of her to wear some horribly designed dress on the red carpet. Perhaps it's her way of giving back?

Top Five Epic FAILS of the Day

Westworld FYC

We attended what was probably Keith's most anticipated FYC event the other night - the Westworld screening! As an added bonus, we were able to screen the upcoming premiere. Squee!
I had to take a picture of our wristband since they cut them off of us at the end in order to give us a cool tote bag giveaway.
While the screening was incredibly blood (especially on the big screen), the panel was interesting and lively.
My favorite part was Thandie's pants - they were glorious!

Pinky's Fandance - Celia Imrie

I was so excited to meet "Una" from the Bridget Jones movies. What a sweetheart!
Celia Imrie plays Pamela Adlon's mother in Better Things and knocks it out of the park. Great job! It was a pleasure to meet her.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Monday Edition

Hello and welcome to Monday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
This dress is incredible.
Why do they always look scared?
This might be the best Ethan has looked in years.
Well, it's certainly an interesting face to make on the red carpet.
I mean, those are clearly pajamas, right?

Top Five LOL Dogs of the Day

Corbin Nash Premiere

Earlier this week we attended Corey's premiere for his new film, Corbin Nash.
It was held on the rooftop of a hotel in Hollywood and while the venue was super cool, it was also really cold outside.
However, it was great to run into our friend Christian who was putting on the event. We love him!
This sign cracked me up.
We ran into our friends Bradley Gregg and his wife Dawn Schroder (also Ricky's sister....). They're awesome.
It really was a neat location.
What happened to Keith's face??
View of the red carpet.
In your deck chair, you listened to the movie on personal headphones.
They even lit up!
This is Richard Wagner. He played Corey's vampire lover in the film.
Oh, did I mention it's about vampires? Corey was INCREDIBLE in his role as a vampire named "Queeny." Like, he blew us away.
Speaking of Corey, isn't his jacket amazeballs? Loved it.
Our friends Sammi, Phil, and a new friend named Evald.
Saw this on the way out and thought it was cool. Fun night out!
