Top Five LOL Dogs of the Day

Best. Husband. Ever.

One thing I'm trying to do to escape from the darkness of the world is to focus on what I'm thankful for. Four years ago next week (can you believe it?!?) I was lucky enough to marry my incredible and wonderful husband, Keith.
We went to the grocery store the other night and had the best time ever. I think that's when you know you're with the right person - when you have fun doing normally boring errands.
He supports me, loves me, and always makes me feel like a Queen. Thank you, babe. I couldn't possibly love you more.

Pinky's Fandance - Hayley Orrantia

Hayley Orrantia does such a great job on The Goldbergs. Between her comedic skills and her amazing voice, she's a force to be reckoned with!
She's also incredibly kind and each time I've met her she's been as sweet as can be. Thanks, Hayley!

Darkness Around

The world is filled with so much darkness lately that it's hard to find things to write about. I don't feel like re-hashing the horrors of the day and instead prefer to focus on things that make me smile or laugh. Anything, really, to keep my mind off the scary things happening all around the world.
Even with entertainment, I'm veering away from anything too dramatic and choosing to watch comedies whenever I can. I wish there was more light in the world right now. It feels like such a dark place.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Tuesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Tuesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Is she wearing toilet paper? Asking for a friend.
Is this a costume?
Well, at least she's not dramatic.
Even Patrick is like, "Enough with the pointing already, Space Boy."
Does she have a purse attached to her dress? Um....

Top Five LOL Animals of the Day

The Sweetest Love Story

In inspiring stories of the day, I found this treasure the other day. This adorable little man takes the picture of his wife out with him when he eats. He also visits her grave four times a day. (For the full story, please follow this link:
They were married like 63 years or something and she passed away several years ago. This warmed my heart and brought tears to my eyes. I also may have told Keith that once I pass he's going to have to take my picture everywhere. LOL.

Pinky's Fandance - Adam F. Goldberg

The man himself! We were so stoked to finally get to see Adam F. Goldberg together. I'd met him once before, but I really wanted him to meet Keith since Adam loved Adventures in Babysitting as a kid.
We had a great conversation and gave him a few shirts. We love his show so much! The Goldbergs rock!

I just don't understand people sometimes. Like, come on. I received a message the other day from an acquaintance who needed something that was basically fraudulent and wanted me to just do it without question. Prefacing something with, "It's OK if you don't want to...." doesn't excuse a poorly thought out plan. No, I don't want to. And you should be embarrassed for even asking.
Then another friend wanted me to do something and didn't even really asked, just assumed I would. And, you know what? I don't want to. I shouldn't have to. And, if I do say no (as I did), that should be OK. Immediately he started ignoring me because he didn't get what he wanted. That. Is. Not. A. Friend. That is an asshole. People are ridiculous sometimes. Rant over.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Monday Edition

Hello and welcome to Monday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Just so you know, if I happened to see Angelina just casually grocery shopping next to me, I'd probably drop dead.
How does he find shirts to fit those massive muscles and not rip? I mean, he must have them custom made, right? It seems like they'd be too big on the bottom to fit the top.
This made me laugh. Keep working on your fitness, Spade!
Wow, he's really, really, really horrible at crafting. And somehow, his hair looks even worse than his horrific pumpkin. When was the last time he washed it? Ten years ago?
Who makes this pose in real life? Was she joking?

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

Listen to This: Beautiful Trauma (Pink)

Pink was the musical guest on SNL last weekend and about a minute into the title track of her new album Beautiful Trauma, I bought the entire album. That's how good the song was. Normally I'd peruse the rest of the songs before purchasing, but this was too good not to own immediately.
The first two tracks are my favorite so far, but she's always amazing. Her voice is soothing and wonderful. Way to go, Pink! You rock!

Pinky's Fandance - Andrea Savage

Not too long ago, Keith and I were watching the hilarious film Sleeping with Other People (which, if you haven't seen it, please rectify that immediately) and noticed this force of nature who stole every scene she was in named Andrea Savage. I mean, there's a scene at the end during the credits where they basically just let Andrea and Jason Mantzoukas riff for about ten minutes that was pure comedy gold. We were dying of laughter and must have watched it several times just to try and catch all their rapid fire jokes.
Wanting to know more about her, I started following Andrea on Twitter and started seeing all these mentions about a TV show called I'm Sorry. I had no idea what that was (since it's on TruTV and that's not typically on my radar), but people seemed to love it, so I decided to check it out. INSTANTLY I was hooked. Like, I couldn't love a show more.
Keith followed suit and we pretty much both developed a huge girl comedy crush on Andrea Savage. I swore if I ever saw her name on a list, I'd have to try and meet her. On Wednesday night, she was on a panel at a place I'd never been to before. Huge kudos to Keith who didn't feel well and still braved a new location with me to try and meet the queen herself. Had I known we could attend the event, we totally would have, but by the time we realized we could go, it was sold out. So, we hung outside hoping to see her arrive, but the location was a lot more challenging than expected and we figured we'd missed her. Keith had walked over to the car to feed the meter and then she surprisingly showed up so he missed the whole thing. Boo! His dream is to just sit down with her and pick her brain on how she got her show made (hear that, Universe? You can make that happen, right??). Andrea could not have been sweeter. She introduced herself (I love that) and was just as cool as she is onscreen. Love her even more now! Thanks, Andrea! You're awesome! We can't wait for the next season of I'm Sorry. It really is one of the best shows on TV.

Way to Go, Blue!

Congratulations to the Dodgers on taking the pennant!
World Series, here we come!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Sunday Edition

Hello and welcome to Sunday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
While I've always known about Heidi's love for Halloween, isn't it a bit early for big balloons? They'll be deflated long before the day comes around....
I love how dramatic this picture looks with the rain.
Did she just walk out of the '70s?
Lookin' good, Ben!
Dear Mandy - Please don't ever do your hair like this again, kthxbye.
