Top Six Postsecrets of the Day

Low-Key Weekend

Our weekend was relatively low-key. The highlight was attending a gifting suite for the BET Awards on Saturday (here's a pic from the red carpet). It's always fun to check out the various vendors at each event and get to try out new stuff. Plus, we got some great pics!
Other than that, we waited for DirecTV to finally fix our TV (we're still waiting....), had our big screen crap out on us, took Sammy to see the horses around our neighborhood, roasted in our apartment (it's HOT in Glendale!), slept in, hung out, and basically relaxed. It was a nice, lazy weekend and now we need to get back to work on the apartment. :)

Pinky's Fandance - Patrick Labyorteaux

Keith and I ran into his friend Patrick Labyorteaux the other day at a gifting suite and I kept trying to place how I knew him. Keith suggested it was from Summer School or other shows back in the '80s, but after looking him up on imdb.com, it must've been from JAG.
Patrick was very cool and anxious to be involved in Keith's next project, The Comeback Kids (as it already features some of his other co-stars from Summer School). It'd be perfect! Great running into him!

Read This: I Like You Just The Way I Am

There are very few things in life that make me laugh more than reading anything written by Jollen Mollen (Biggs). Between her Facebook (yes, we're friends on Facebook...not to brag....), Twitter, Instagram, and columns written for Playboy, she leaves me rolling on the floor and wanting to quote her more than pretty much anyone else I read.
So, when I found out she had written a book, I was thrilled and had to pre-order it right away. I love her! The book arrived on Friday and I finished it on Saturday (but not before reading about half of it out loud to Keith - who was laughing just as hard as I was). She. Is. Hysterical.
Here we are a few years ago when I went to watch her perform at The Improv. Such a great and funny writer! If you have an open mind, a sense of humor, and aren't offended by the "f" word, I highly recommend reading this book. You can thank me later.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Wednesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Wednesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
I don't know what it is about this outfit that's off-putting to me, but I just think she's way cuter than this outfit is allowing her to be.
How long has Steven been homeless???
Did she lose her sense of fashion when she lost all that weight? That can be the only explanation for this denim jumpsuit. Ugh.
Since when is Keira guest starring on Masters of Sex?
All these pics of Matt around Hollywood and still I've yet to see him wandering about. Come to Glendale, Matty!

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

Lost Unicorn

Awesome.

Pinky's Fandance - Melissa McBride

Melissa McBride is on The Walking Dead and is simply stunning in person. I couldn't get over how flawless she looked.
She was great to sign and pose for the entire barricade of fans - very friendly lady!

Far Too True

These made me laugh - especially when you add a pet into the mix. We can relate!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Tuesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Tuesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Hooray! You know I'm always looking for a reason for a dress to be cha-cha-cha.
Please don't EVER make that face again. Gah.
Whoever designed that dress for Charisma must've hated her.
Why is Miley wearing Justin Bieber's clothes? Is it because she's so "street?"
This picture would be so much better if Zach were also wearing a pink wig.

Top Five FAILS of the Day

New Artwork

I'm so in love with the new artwork we got for our place. I've been DYING for this gumball picture forever and the other day I finally broke down and got it.
Another great edition? The Kid poster on the left - LOVE having Keith's grandfather represented in our place. Things are starting to come together! Now if only the rest of the house would unpack itself...that'd be great.

Pinky's Fandance - Seth Gabel

I loved Seth Gabel when he was on Dirty Sexy Money and after meeting him in person I love him even more.
Look at that huge smile - he's the cutest! So nice, too!

This. Is. Awesome.

Behold, the glory of the future tallest buildings in the world. Of course, to make them even more magnificent, they'll be PINK!
They're being built in China. I may just have to go to there!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Monday Edition

Hello and welcome to Monday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
The caption says they're greeting each other, but I think they're either dancing, or she fell.
Courteney, hon, doesn't your Friends money allow you to have a blow dryer? Go back home and dry that hair please.
When did Hefty start making dresses?
Didn't Chris Pine used to be hot?
Holy ugh! Is that a dress with a skirt under it?!?! YIKES.

Top Five LOL Dogs of the Day

This Picture Is Everything

While I definitely need to flesh out my "Bucket List," I can assure you that this picture would be WAY WAY WAY up at the top of that list (followed closely by seeing a taping of Saturday Night Live in person).
I mean, COME ON. A selfie with the ENTIRE band? With my beloved Duran Duran?!?!
I'm not even exaggerating when I say this picture KILLS me. I want it to be me SO bad! Plus, Nick is all nuzzled up! WHY. ISN'T. THAT. ME!?!? Hell, I'd probably even overlook Roger's stupid tongue sticking out to get this amazing shot. PLEASE, Universe, MAKE IT SO.

Pinky's Fandance - Kristin Chenowith

Kristin Chenowith is a dream come true. Seriously, she is so kind and gracious. She does a magnificent job of treating her fans like people she cares about and doesn't seem "put off" by them or inconvenienced at all (like so many celebs out there these days).
This was my second time meeting her and I was just as impressed as I was the first time. She is mesmerizing. I adore her.

Do Not EVER Buy From Sheer Cover Studio!!!

Back in May, I became transfixed with an ad on TV for a type of make-up called Sheer Cover Studio. It looked like an amazing product, so I made sure to go home and order the free trial. Well, things got busy and I never even tried it. Although I'd made myself a note to call and cancel before the end of the 30-days, I forgot. When I remembered a few days later, I was told it was too late, they'd already shipped it, and I was out of luck.
OK, fine, I'd return it - but I made sure to cancel my subscription and would wait for the $42 refund from the unwanted product they shipped to me. Although I have tracking that shows it was received weeks ago, yesterday I received yet another $35 charge for this bogus crap. When I called to ask why, no one knew anything, no one had the ability to do anything, and they confirmed that I'd called to cancel back in May. If there was a possibility that I would've been charged again, don't you think they should have told me that back then?!?!!? I would've cancelled my card!
Finally someone said they'd have a "supervisor" (apparently the only person who can do anything, although I suspect they get these calls ALL the time) credit my money, but who knows if that will ever happen. When I tweeted my displeasure yesterday, the company sent me a questionnaire to fill out. Um...NO. I'll pass, thanks. It's bad enough I had to call multiple times, ship back the item I didn't want to begin with, and am still out all the money. Screw you, Sheer Cover Studio. You SUCK.
