Growing up as a member of the world renowned Shean Family Singers (OK, well, maybe not *quite* world renowned....but we tore up the three whole gigs we performed at), I'm very well versed in all things Peter, Paul, and Mary related. My parents were huge fans of the trio and we not only sang their songs, but we listened to countless CDs and songs over the years. Perhaps that's why I've got such a love of folk music and anything acoustical? Whatever the reason, I was sad to learn of the passing of Mary Travers, part of this beloved trio. R.I.P. Mary. She'll be truly missed.

R.I.P. Mary Travers
