R.I.P. Davy Jones

I'm so sad about the passing of Davy Jones. When I heard the news yesterday I couldn't believe it - especially since I just saw him a few weeks ago and he looked great. Davy was always my very favorite Monkee and the cutest one of the bunch. Who can forget the time he made a guest appearance on The Brady Bunch? He inspired me that teenage dreams could come true (OK, fine, he made me a Daydream Believer, if you will). Plus, he kissed Marcia Brady on the cheek and she swore she'd never wash that cheek again. Amazing!

Of course I had to get the "Marcia pose" when we met. How could I resist?

I'm so happy I had the brief chance to meet him before he passed away too soon. Thank you for the memories, Davy Jones. You'll be missed.
