Sad news in the entertainment industry today: John Hughes, director of such iconic films as
Pretty in Pink,
The Breakfast Club, and
Sixteen Candles, died of a heart attack today while taking a walk. He was only 59. How many nights were spent watching one of those fabulous films....did I mention
Ferris Bueller's Day Off and
Some Kind of Wonderful? He was truly a mastermind and will be sorely missed.
