When I was young, my most hated time of the day was naptime. For some reason unbeknownst to me, back then naps = boring and I would do ANYTHING to get out of taking one. It was even worse having to take one at preschool or kindergarten....didn't they know I could be spending valuable time on the playground instead of lying on the dumb, stupid cot? Of course, now that I'm grown up and so mature (ha!) all I ever want to do is nap. I would pay someone to let me take a nap every day. Why did these go by the wayside as we grew up? Don't adults sometime need naps even more than (or just as much as) kids? Who do I need to talk to so that we can institute a nationwide push for a mandatory naptime during the day? As soon as I get the number (The White House, perhaps?), I'll make the call right away. Perhaps we can start a petition? :)
