My Best Friend's Girl = Funny

While Kimmie's boys went off to a birthday party in Draper, she and I escaped for some quality girl time last night. We caught a quick dinner and then enjoyed the latest Dane Cook movie, My Best Friend's Girl. While I've always loved Dane Cook's stand-up act, his last few movies have not impressed me as much as I'd hoped. However, My Best Friend's Girl did not disappoint. While it was raunchy (in the same way Superbad was), it was as funny as can be and the cast was great. I'm really glad we were able to spend some time together and see Dane Cook shine. In fact, we were quoting lines from the movie (one in particular) for the rest of the night. I was also stoked to finally meet her youngest son. They only live in Tooele, so I don't know why I never get out there. It's funny how sometimes you rarely see people who live close. We definitely need to change that! Isn't her family adorable?
