R.I.P. Farrah Fawcett

I wonder just how many teenage boys had this poster of Farrah Fawcett hanging from their bedroom wall? It's hard to believe that she was only on Charlie's Angels for one season, considering how quickly she rocketed to super stardom. Learning of her passing today, at the age of 62, made me quite sad, as she was such an iconic figure to so many. I've got a friend at Sundance who passes out his contact information on the back of Charlie's Angels cards - they're the coolest things.
I've always been fascinated by couples who stay together for the majority of their lives yet never marry. They seem to have this special connection that I can't quite put my finger on. Hearing Ryan O'Neal's comments today brought a tear to my eye. I always kinda loved learning about their relationship, as they seemed so truly in love. Here's what he had to say:
"I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much. She was in and out of consciousness. I talked to her all through the night. I told her how very much I loved her. She's in a better place now."
Rest in Peace, Farrah. You'll be missed.
