Good Movies = Happy Pinky

There's nothing like a great movie to really bring a smile to my face. Today I was lucky enough to see not one, but two movies I enjoyed immensely. The first one was Away We Go which stars John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph and was playing over at the local Art House. It's a beautiful film about a couple discovering where they need to be. There are great supporting roles and it's just a movie that's sweet, poignant, and real. There's a great mix of humor and drama, plus it's hard not to fall completely in love with this adorable couple. I highly recommend it.
The next film I got from Netflix and was one I'd been wanting to see for a long time. Fanboys is set in 1998 and is about a group of friends who are diehard Star Wars fans counting down until Episode One is released. They end up driving cross country, breaking into the Lucas Ranch, and trying to steal the film so they can watch it before their cancer-ridden friend passes away. The film is full of Star Wars reference, fights with Trekkies, and hysterical cameos (the funniest probably being William Shatner).
