Pinky's Fandance - Brian Van Holt

Funny story: Many years ago, Brian took a picture for me of me and Denis Leary. We were all at Sundance and Denis was in a movie with Brian. When I went to ask Denis for a picture, he said to Brian, "Take a picture for this broad." To this day, Denis Leary is the only person who can call me a broad without sounding derogatory.

I love Brian Van Holt on Cougar Town and especially the "Penny Can" game they all play. When I saw him this last time, I said, "Is it wrong that I just want to say, 'Penny Can!' around you?" He laughed and seemed to appreciate it, but, sadly, he didn't do the "Penny Can!" voice the way I'd hoped. Oh, well. Maybe next time.
