I'm just going to get this out of the way right now: I do NOT participate in Black Friday. Ever. I'm sure there are great deals, but there are also WAY too many people, so I always make sure to avoid it at all costs. Well, that is, except this year. I went up north to see my friend Nathan and wanted to share my favorite thing ever on the Central Coast, which is this amazing clam chowder at Splash Cafe. In order to bring it, I needed a cooler, so I thought I'd run into a Wal-mart really fast. What was I thinking? That was NOT a smart move. I thought I might pull my hair out or throw a tantrum on the floor. Luckily, I made it out relatively unscathed, $5 cooler in hand.
Before I made it to Splash Cafe, I went to pick up my friend Little Chris to go with me. He was shopping at a Sears and the parking lot was worse than the Wal-mart. Luckily I just had to pick him up and then we made our way to lunch.
From there I made it to San Jose and spent time with this adorable group of people. It was a good time. I'm glad I went (
even though it ended up causing World War 3 the next day...but that's another story....).
