Celebrity Wrap Up - Monday Edition

Hello and welcome to today's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.Do you think Lindsay is aware we can see her bra? No, Kellie Pickler did not decide to go out dressed up as a clown. Sadly, her make-up artist went a little crazy with the white powder. Yikes.Oh, no. Miley Cyrus appears to have the same hairdresser as SJP (read: no hairdresser and very messy hair). At least she's got cute dogs on her pants. Wait, why is that better?I love that J.Lo's son is looking at her like, "Are you serious with that dress? What is it supposed to be anyway?"Katherine McPhee is some sort of delusional because she thinks the black and white pattern on her dress is just whimsical and not, as evidenced by the picture above, just a COW rip-off. Come on.

Happy President's Day!!

Due to unforeseeable circumstances (read: I'm not home), Monday's blog posts will be temporarily delayed. Please don't cry - go about your day celebrating deceased Presidents however you see fit. ;)

Post Pink Day Blues

I've only got one thing to say since Pink Day is officially over and done with. Boys are dumb. The end.

Make It Stop

Did anyone watch SNL last night? The Jonas Brothers were the musical (I use that term loosely) guest and it was the first time I'd actually ever seen them perform. May I just say, ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!?!!? At least other popular acts (read: Hannah Montana and HSM) are watchable and not completely and utterly ridiculous. It took everything in me not to laugh out loud at how silly they looked trying to perform and look cool. I'm pretty sure Milli Vanilli would win if they were up against The Jonas Brothers in a Battle of the Bands. I kid you not.

Pinky's Fandance, Sunday Edition

Every time I see Isabella Rossellini, I think of that Friends episode where Ross made the list and had her name laminated (or not laminated as the case may be). Yes, I know she's an international superstar, but her Friends episode will be forever burned in my mind. I saw Isabella in the audience of a movie last year and couldn't resist asking for a picture. I don't think she was thrilled, but she did acccomodate my request (and, really, isn't that all that matters?). :) Of course I told her I loved her on Friends.

Welcome to the World, Jamie Biser!

Last night I was lucky enough to spend the evening with the Biser family. It was perfect, as I didn't want to be home by myself on Pink Day and I also had to deliver Jamie's new blanket. Could he be any cuter in the blanket and matching hat? I think not. We had a great time and it was nice to be surrounded by people who were not only willing to celebrate Pink Day, but also wanted to spend time with me. Nyah (Debra's little girl) even asked me to move in forever. It's a wonderful feeling to feel so loved and adored. :) Kudos to Jim for the yummy steaks!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Sunday Edition

Welcome to today's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.Lindsay Lohan has moved on from leggings to some sort of riding crops. I'm not a fan. Thankfully she's with her ever-present best accessory - her surly girlfriend Sam. Why does she always look as ugly as possible? It must be some sort of skill.Victoria Beckham must be having some money issues because she's been borrowing clothes all over town. She grabbed her hair tie from a shower, the dog-as-a-jacket from Mary-Kate, the see-through top from Madonna, the leather (pleather?) pants from Olivia Newton-John on the set of Grease, and the sunglasses from Nicole Richie. Hard times, Posh. The good news is that if Jessica Simpson were ever involved with a plane crash, at least she's got her own flotation devices. Why is Jennifer Love-Hewitt wearing a blanket as a parka? I'm all for the Snuggly (a new blanket with sleeves which is all the rave), but this is NOT the same. And carrying her Louis Vuitton bag only makes her look more ridiculous. When did Elisabeth Hasselbeck turn 100? Man, she looks like death warmed over. Somewhere, Rosie O'Donnell is smiling.

Top Eleven Postsecrets of the Day

Movie Night with McFamily

Last night I met McG and McH at the movies to see Confessions of a Shopaholic. Despite having a few of the overspending themes hit a little to close to home at time, it was a cute movie, although I don't think it was cute enough to buy (or even see again, actually). Still, it had some really fun parts and it was even better to see it with my girls. Thanks for the great time! :)

Pinky's Fandance - Saturday Edition

The funniest thing about this picture is who I'm posing with. I saw this guy on Main Street walking around like a tough guy. He posed with all these fans for pictures, all the while leaving me speechless since I couldn't figure out who he was. Finally I asked for a picture because I figured it couldn't hurt (shameless, I know) and then did some research on him. Who is this, you ask? Look closely. His name is Zach Woods and he was the bully on A Christmas Story (about a million years ago). Too funny.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Saturday Edition

Hello and welcome to today's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.Holy crap. Someone appears to love Pink Day even more than I do (although, I think she *might* be taking it a step too far).Um, Rudy Huxtable, I think I speak for everyone when I say NO ONE wants to see you flash that much leg. Seriously. Cover yourself up or else Bill Cosby is going to throw a blanket over you.I thought Gwyneth Paltrow was supposed to be some style icon? I'm fairly certain I saw that dress at Pic-n-Save last week and the necklace was from a bubblegum machine. Nice breastplate.Isn't there some sort of fashion rule that says if your belt hangs lower than your teeny tiny pants, you need to change? Amanda Bynes, pull it together. How did Jennifer Hudson appear in the Sex and the City movie and still be clueless when it comes to fashion? Blue shoes? Blue shoes? Paired with a dinner napkin and shiny alien shield? Hmmmm.

Happy Happy

Happy Pink Day!!

It's been a very nice Pink Day so far. I will be continuing to celebrate by driving down the mountain to see my mom and then Debra. Enjoy your day and I'll try to do the actual blog tonight. Happy Pink Day!!! ;)

Top Five V-Day Cards

These cracked me up today and were too funny not to share. As a side note, why is the background red? Don't they know it's National Pink Day?

It's Not Me, It's You

I'm totally digging the new Lily Allen album (do we still call them albums, or should I say CD?) called "It's Not Me, It's You" (plus, isn't that such a great title?). It's so bubbly and poppy - perfect to bee-bop to while at work (I think what I'm doing is technically called "chair dancing" - I highly recommend it). I downloaded it from iTunes the other day and can't get enough. Man, I love new music.

Pinky's Fandance, Friday Edition

I selected the picture with Hugh Dancy today for a few reasons. First of all, he recently became engaged to Claire Danes (congratulations!!). Second of all, his movie Confessions of a Shopaholic was released today and I cannot wait to see it. Finally, there's a funny story about this picture. You see, Heidi, Hiba, and I (being the masters of celebrity finders that we are) spotted him at the front of a mass of people, but as he's still pretty up and coming, no one recognized him (this is a frequent incident with me, as we discussed with the Jason Isaacs picture). Well, I walked right up to him and asked for a picture, which he was nice enough to take with me. After that, Hiba took one with him and then maybe Heidi (or she might have been somewhere else). Well, that's all it took - the entire mob jumped all over pictures with him. Hiba made a comment about how we do this everywhere we go and at that exact moment Hugh looked right at me and said, "Look what you started" or something to that effect. Too funny. But, really, I couldn't help it! It is Hugh Dancy, after all. He's scrumptious. :)

This Is Me Getting a Grip

So, you know when you're younger and you have a fight with your special someone and instead of dealing with it (or maybe as a way of dealing with it) you go around to all of your friends and family and trash him (since you expect you'll be breaking up soon)? But then, some miracle happens and you get back together and all your friends and family are like, "Um, but now we know all these bad things about him...." Yeah, hi. Apparently I'm 12 and am still abiding by these rules. Perhaps the lesson I need to learn is that I should stop talking about him on my blog because now I just feel ridiculous for all the drama (oh, wait. Me? Drama?). This is a learning phase, right?

Celebrity Wrap Up - Friday Edition

Good morning and welcome to today's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.Is Ashton "Douchebag" Kutcher actually wearing an ascot around his neck, a la Hugh Hefner? I'm going on the record right now and say no one (not even Hef) can pull that off. It just makes him look like even more of a douchebag (which I didn't know was possible). I don't know why, but Halle Berry's dress looks like something made on Gilligan's Island. I'm surprised the breast area wasn't made out of coconuts, since the rest of it looks like it's made from shells.I can't decide which is more gay - Mickey Rourke's princess wave, the powder blue jacket, or the itty bitty dog. Wow. I'm speechless.I was a big fan of Nia Peebles in Fame (about a 100 years ago), but I'm not sure if I'm feeling this Barbie Party Dress, despite its beautiful color. I'll bet those straps leave a mark.Is Mary-Kate Olsen wearing a jacket made out of a dog? She's a walking PETA nightmare. Nice hair, though.

Migraine City

Apparently my over-crocheting had some serious consequences - namely, a kinked neck and yuchy migraine. I've been in bed most of the day, which is never fun (except maybe I just needed the extra rest). The good news is that I haven't had a migraine in quite awhile and I think I was able to knock it out before it got any worse. I've still got a bit of a headache, but I'll most likely live. :)
