I Haz a Boo-Boo

So, yesterday I was putting the finishing touches on my "Keith Coogan Wall of Fame" and trying to re-hang a picture above the Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead poster (similar to the one above the Adventures in Babysitting poster).
I was standing on the top of the couch and using the janky bookshelf there for support of my leg. Not a good move, apparently.
Before I knew it, my leg went THROUGH the bookshelf and I went flying backwards to the ground. Not graceful at all.
It looks really bad, I know. I'm sorry you had to see that. Keith wanted to take me to the ER, but it stopped bleeding and we realized it wasn't too deep (I think it was cut on wood and not glass or metal like it could have been). I was pretty lucky that nothing cut into my femoral artery. I would've bled out in under a minute!
Today I have it camouflaged to look like this. You can hardly tell I fell, right?
This is one of the other walls I completed. It was all looking so good before the accident. :(
