An Open Letter to the 99 Cents Only Stores

Dear Liars,

Last night I had an unfortunate experience at your Port Hueneme location. Not only was I treated poorly by a less-than-friendly (that's putting it mildly) cashier who couldn't be bothered to take my merchandise out of the hand basket on her own, but then she had the nerve to charge me $3.99 for some toiletpaper. Excuse me? $3.99?
Um, let's refresh. The very title of your store should explain what the prices are inside. 99 cents ONLY. Do you not understand that concept? NOTHING OVER 99 CENTS is what I was led to believe....but now you're slipping things in at $3.99? When I had the nerve to question this charge, I was told that customers have asked for bigger bulk items. Um, then they can go to Costco. Your products are NOT labeled for $3.99, so essentially you're misleading consumers.
Now, I realize you're a huge conglomerate and could care less about my patronage of your store, or that I've been a big fan of your deals for a long time. You have enough people shopping there to not be invested in one tiny person. Still, I'm extremely disappointed in your lack of customer service, false advertising, and poor excuse for management. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Disgustedly,
Pinky Lovejoy
