If you're an avid Instagram lurker (as I am), you may have noticed the influx of pictures of people posing with California poppies. Apparently all the recent rain has led to a super-bloom and there's a California Poppy Reserve in Antelope Valley which everyone has been flocking to.
Sadly, we have been unable to get out to see them, as we've been crazy busy with other stuff. By the time I figured out where they were, we were on the road to SF and haven't had a free second since then. When we were coming back from SF, Keith found this tiny patch of poppies on the side of the road as we were stopped at a traffic signal. He quickly grabbed my phone and took a shot. Not sure if that's what I had in mind, but funny all the same. :)
