Oh, Matthew Mc-con-a-hottie. It broke my heart to hear you're not especially nice to fans. Hopefully when we *finally* meet it'll be different. Fingers crossed. I'm not sure which is worse - the matching old lady ensemble Kate's wearing, or the fact that it has a drawstring. At least her kid's hair is finally cut.I wish Gwen Stefani was my BFF. She's just the coolest thing ever.

Pinky's Fandance - Eric Winter

Adam and I were sitting at the theater last night when Eric Winter walked by. Both of us recognized him immediately and went to get a picture - but neither one could remember his name or what he'd been in (duh). Luckily, one of Adam's friends figured out the mystery for us - Eric Winter was the hot doctor on The Ugly Truth, as well as being on my soap opera for a few years (Days of our Lives). Yum!

Applause, Applause

Ladies and gentlemen: A miracle has happened today. That's right, your own Pinky Lovejoy has re-entered the Corporate world. Well, technically, my Big Job starts on August 30th, but I was presented with an offer of employment today (which I accepted, of course!). :) It's for the scripting job at the post-production company I interviewed for last week. I'm SO excited! They'd said a decision wouldn't be made until the end of the month, so when I received a call from their HR department this morning I kinda thought it was bad news for sure. Lo and behold, I was hired! :) I can't wait - after the interview I just kept thinking how perfect the job sounded for me. It's the perfect combination of my skills - editing/proofreading in the entertainment industry. Well, obviously I'll have more things to do than that, but those are some big ones. Wahoo!

Hello and welcome to Saturday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. Will you look at that? Ed Westwick meets me one time and already he's dressing in a fabulous pink? The force is strong with me. Nothing straight about this picture. Nothing straight at all.

Christina Ricci is so adorable. She's the only celeb we missed at the event the other night that I was bummed about missing. Could she be any cuter? I think not.Another day, another Zac Efron picture. All I need is to have my head featured next to him. :)

Top Five FAILS of the Day

It All Comes Full Circle

As you may recall, my first celebrity photo was with Jason Bateman when I was 12. While I love the photo and think it was a great story, I think we can all agree the picture's a little dated. After the shoot got wrapped tonight, Adam called to let me know that he saw Jason Bateman going into a movie, so I went over to meet him and hopefully catch Jason on the way out. He's actually got a premiere on Monday for The Switch, but premieres are always crazy; if I could get him tonight, it'd be one less thing to stress over next week (as getting a job already takes up all my free time for stress).

For some reason, I thought Jason would enjoy my story about the first picture and might even like to see the picture. Well, I was wrong. He didn't. In fact, he didn't really care what-so-ever. Oh, well. At least he did the new picture, right? Of course, it was a little begrudgingly, but that's OK. Perhaps he had things going on that I don't know about. I'm still stoked.

Pinky's Fandance - Kevin McHale

While I'm excited to have a growing number of Glee castmembers, I'm still missing quite a few. Kevin McHale (aka Artie on Glee) was one such character. I've really been wanting to meet him because I love his character and his voice on the show. Luckily, we ran into him at the movie theater tonight while he was hanging out with a few friends. He was totally sweet and nice (although it's a little odd to see him out of the wheelchair he uses on the show). Total Glee count: Eight down, five to go (at least.....).

On Location: Pinion Hills

Our movie crew moved from our primary headquarters in Pasadena today to a remote (read: BFE) location in Pinion Hills, CA. Here's a picture I took on-set while waiting to watch the same scene performed for the millionth time. That's the thing about filming - you see the exact same thing over and over and over again. I can totally see how a crew would become tight and how main characters could easily hook-up while filming - especially if they were sequestered from the rest of the world. The director warned me about the heat of the sun as we filmed, but of course I didn't listen. Do I ever? For some reason I thought I was immune to the burning rays of the sun and ignored the pleas for coverage. The result? OUCH. Here's a picture of half my neck. Glorious, right? This is Mandy - she's the lead character on the movie and a total doll. Luckily the actors on-set today were world-class and amazing to watch. I can't wait to see how it's all going to turn out.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Friday Edition

Hello and welcome to today's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. Isn't it ironic....Alanis Morrissette looking like a happily married pregnant lady looks like she's taking a walk on the wild side. What's that about?

Now, one would think that when you're wearing an array of wild colors on your dress, that you *might* want to tone down the shoe color choice. Purple shoes? Bold move, my friend. If you look closely, you'll notice that Renee Zellweger (aka the Luckiest Woman Alive) is sporting a little band-aid on her knee. Now, if I were a lewd-minded person, I might make some crass comment about what activity might've caused her knee to be chaffed...but I'd never stoop so low as to think that way. I'm far too innocent and pristine for that.How cute is this dress? Does it come in grown-up sizes?

You know Dean and Tori are doing way too much publicity when their children automatically start waving at any camera they see. I'm just saying.

Third Time's A Charm

Tonight Adam and I went to some cool Blackberry party where we saw tons of great celebrities. Of all the people there, the one I was most excited to see again was Adrian Grenier. Now, while it's true I got a picture with him at Sundance this year, I've always kinda hated the picture. Observe: Normally, I'm completely in love with Adrian, but his eyes here are a bit crazed in this picture. Yes, I know my camera screen can be confusing, but why did it distort his face?

Unfortunately, when I tried again tonight, I got this lovely picture - again, his eyes are a bit crazed. Not quite as bad as before, but crazed nonetheless. Since he was being really cool tonight, Adam called him over for a third try:

Ta-da! Other than his eyes not looking crazed, the best part is that I'm squeezing him so hard from behind that I *may* have felt his insides work (hence the big grin on my face). Sigh. Isn't he a dreamboat? Yum.

Pinky's Fandance - Jason Schwartzman

I was really excited today to have the chance to visit the Jimmy Kimmel show in the hopes of meeting Jason Schwartzman (from The Royal Tenenbaums, The Darjeeling Limited, and the upcoming Scott Pilgrim vs. The World). I'd heard he was really, really nice and the rumor proved to be true. In fact, Jason was SO nice, he makes everyone else I've said was nice look like a bunch of schlubs. He was so grateful for the people waiting - he thanked us for being there and took his time with all the autographs and pictures. One of the girls had even made a bag with his face on it: He signed it "best bag ever" - isn't he awesome? As an added bonus, he remembered the girl from a recent premiere where he'd signed an autograph for her. Loves it! I really enjoyed his work before, but now I'm a bonafide, lifetime fan. Nicely done, Jason. Nicely done.

The Family That Skates Together....

Today I had lunch with my sister and two of her skateboarding children. While Phoenix enjoys it, Max is rather obsessed (to put it mildly). He couldn't wait to finish lunch so that he could return to his skateboard and show us some tricks. I tried to get a few of them documented, but my lens didn't seem quite quick enough.
