Bah Humbug

There are plenty of things I enjoy during the holiday season: The lights, the merriment, the Christmas cards. I love Christmas movies (especially the few standards I like watching every year: Elf, Love Actually, and When Harry Met Sally, just to name a few). I love pictures with Santa. I love Christmas decorations.
The only thing I can't stand, in fact, is Christmas music. I know I say it every year, but I HATE it. I abhor it. I worked in restaurants for far too long to ever be able to enjoy it again.
But you know what's even worse? The lady in the cube next to me at work is wearing a bell around her neck. That's right, you read that correctly: A BELL. So every time she moves, it jingles. LOUDLY. Can you believe that? It JINGLES!!! I'm about to lose my shizz. I didn't think anything was worse than holiday music, but I was wrong. A bell is a million, trillion times worse. I tried to handle it like a grown up and ask her not to wear it, but she didn't even care. I wasn't even mean about it; I calmly told her that I'm sensitive to sounds and the bell is driving me a bit batty. Did she take it off? Nope. I hope Santa brings her coal.
