I Went To Ellen!

Yesterday something amazing happened. Not only did I get to have lunch with my super cute new friends from Ohio, but they had an extra ticket to go to the one and only Ellen show! Despite living in LA for over a year and being a huge fan of Ellen herself, I'd never been able to see her show live before (as they generally seem to give tickets to people coming from far away - at least that's what I've heard. I could be wrong), so this was a huge treat. I wasn't sure if I could get off early, but, luckily, my boss was totally fine with my going. Hooray!

And let's face it - Ellen is amazing. She's so personable and fun and warm - she just makes you feel like you're BFFs and draws you into her wonderful spirit. I love her. I love the show. She makes me laugh and want to be around her energy. I love it.

The guests on the show were Robin Williams and Selena Gomez (it airs today!). Robin was hysterical, as one would expect, and Selena was sweet - she even brought her new puppy onstage! As members of the audience, we all received a copy of her new CD, "When the Sun Goes Down," which I listened to on my way home and LOVED it. Does that make me a 12-year-old girl? Wait. Don't answer that.
