Elena was in my favorite Pedro film, Talk to Her, and most recently is starring in The Skin I Live In with Antonio Banderas. Although my friend and I had tickets for a special screening, we hit traffic and missed the movie. Darnit! Luckily, we were able to catch Elena as she went to the Q&A and I was excited to meet her.

Pinky's Fandance - Elena Anaya
I'm not sure if you know this, but I adore Pedro Almodovar's films. Several times I've left the theater with my mouth agape just in awe of his brilliance. One of the things I admire most is his usage of many of the same actors in his films. Elena Anaya is one of these lucky actors.
