The Price is Wrong

Today I woke up at some ungodly hour in order to meet up with a large group of my dear friend Julie's family and friends to attend a taping of The Price is Right. As it was Julie's birthday and she loves the show, what better way to spend the day, right?

Unfortunately, the 14 of us were coming from all over California (even her sister came from Arizona) and somehow thought the 8:30 a.m. meet-up time would be feasible in traffic. Sadly, we were wrong. The five girls who came from San Diego didn't make it until almost ten and by then our group was unable to go on the show since everyone wasn't there on-time. Bummer!

The one thing we did have - and wore anyway in honor of Julie's birthday - were these amazing t-shirts. Aren't they cute? It's Julie's baby picture wearing Drew Carey glasses. Actually, there were a ton of interesting shirts there. I'm fascinated by them - how many are made each day? Which ones work the best? So many questions.

At least we were able to hang out at The Grove and have a good time. Hopefully one day we'll be able to make it to The Price is Right after all - but next time, we should stay in a hotel the night before directly across from the CBS lot!
