Oh. My. Grey's.

How many of you watched the season finale of Grey's Anatomy last night? Oh. My. Grey's. Wasn't it the most intense thing ever? I know shows like to keep people on their toes and surprise them with dramatic cliff-hangers, but I thought I might have a heart attack. There was just SO. MUCH. BLOOD. Ick. I had to watch a comedy special before bed so that I didn't have bad dreams. Yeah, it was that bad. Er, good. Don't get me wrong - I thoroughly enjoyed it; I just kept wanting to fast forward to the end so I could make sure everyone was OK. Yes, I know it's just a TV show, but as you'll recall, it's my favorite TV show so I may be a *teensy* bit invested in the characters. Actually, the best thing about it was sharing the experience with people on Facebook who were watching it at all different times. I know it's silly, but it kinda makes me feel like I'm watching it with everyone instead of sitting in my house crocheting like a 100-year-old woman. When I watched the Oscars it was the same thing - everyone would put their thoughts in their status updates and then comment on everyone else's. It was fun. Luckily, no one I actually cared about died (sorry Reed and Charles) and McDreamy didn't (sorry, spoiler alert) McDie after all. I couldn't wait all summer to see the outcome - we already did that last year with George and Izzie. So, thank you, Grey's writers, for resolving the McDreamy storyline. I'm afraid I didn't have it in me to McWait again (see what I did there?).
