Idaho Is For Freaks

As mentioned the other day, Vicki and I decided to take a quick trip to Idaho on Saturday. Now, lest you think we're completely insane (which, of course, is debatable even without the Idaho trip), the border is only two hours away. Vick wanted to buy some lottery tickets, so we drove to Malad and purchased some. Now, the interesting thing about the place we bought the tickets from was the wide array of people found in the store. It was like Freaks on Parade. I could've sat there all day.First we saw Mr. Sweet Mullet. I know the picture is kinda far away (I had to sneak the pic), but trust me, it was awesome. It was permed (Ogilve Home Perm?) and luxurious and the phone headpiece just completed the ensemble. Next we saw Toby Keith's brother (or just a REALLY patriotic guy). Vicki swears that his glasses had a flag on them, as well. This shot isn't the greatest, but I couldn't get enough of watching him. It was like a train wreck. With flags.

Finally, on our way home, we saw this truck which can, apparently, predict the future. I'm sure the driver was from Idaho.
