My baby brother, Jay, turns 39 tomorrow! The last year before his 40s!!!
To celebrate, he's running a half marathon - is he insane?!!?
My brother is sweet, kind, talented, smart, and one of the best dads around. I'm so proud to call him my brother and my friend. Happy birthday, Jayman!!! We love you!
Can we just talk about how amazing Henry Winkler is? I mean, seriously. He's a national treasure.
While I'd had the privilege of meeting him several times before, this picture is by far my favorite one of us. The five-year-old version of me that used to kiss his picture every night before bed would be DYING right now!
Oh my goodness! A Parker Lewis Can't Lose reunion?!?! Sign me up for a YES!
It also happens to be in Paris, which I've totally been wanting to go to. Oh, and right around the time of our five year wedding anniversary. Coincidence? I think not.
Years ago I'd met Dakota Fanning at Sundance and found her to be very sweet. In fact, I've also met her sister, Elle, and found her to be lovely, as well, so they've got some great parenting going on in that household.
Dakota also does an amazing job in The Alienist and really makes you want to learn more about her character. We just received the series in the mail yesterday, so I'm sure we'll be diving into that soon. Thanks, Dakota, for being awesome!
So, I spent the majority of last night trying to find items I'd bought my sister for her birthday (like some really cool DIY Russian Nesting Dolls or a few autographs I'd collected for her that wish her a happy birthday) and to my dismay, I can't find them anywhere. They have up and moved away apparently.
I really need to get a better system for placing gifts I buy in advance exactly for this reason. At this point, I'll never find them until she's 80.
I also really wish I had that organization gene - you know, the thing that doesn't make you a gigantic slob. Keith and I both seem to be really really bad at keeping our stuff from being, well, everywhere. I wish there was a way to reign it in. At this point it's all still so overwhelming I don't even know what to do. Boo.
