Pinky's Fandance - Gael Garcia Bernal

Can we just stop and appreciate the hotness that is Gael Garcia Bernal? I mean, YUM. That boy is fine!
The best part about this picture was that it pretty much happened because Gael's driver liked my hat. He was complimenting it and so I decided to chat him up and see who he was driving around. He said I knew he couldn't tell me, but I reminded him that we were "old friends" (ha ha). That made him laugh, so he said he was driving around a guy who wasn't that big here, but he's huge in Mexico. Of course we knew immediately that it was Gael from that description. Not long after, Gael left the restaurant and happily posed with all three of us. WIN!

For Sale: One Heart

For Sale: One heart. Pink. Broken. Extremely worn in and heavily used.
Many bandages are basically holding it together, but it's chalked full of love. In fact, it's so full that I can no longer stand to have it attached to me anymore. Please take it off my hands.
Will accept cash, Paypal  or trade. Or it may just be free to a good home. Take care of it. Nurse it. Keep it from breaking any further.

Seller is aware of its battered and worn state.
Can no longer stand to have such a sissified heart. Need to be tougher. Please take it away.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Saturday Edition

Hello and welcome to Saturday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Why, hello there, Thor. Lookin' fine.
That was certainly nice of Helen Mirren's grandmother to loan her a dress for the red carpet.
Holy cuteness, Beckham!
Did Kellie have any make-up left after that application (or was she going to Clown School? That might explain it).
Jess, I see that your hand is making its way to your baby bump...resist the urge! Resist!

Top Five "Nailed Its" of the Day

My Twitter Boyfriend

Last night I was calmly eating dinner, minding my business, and watching TV when suddenly I got a notification on my phone that my true love / my big crush / my future boyfriend the adorable Keith Coogan had mentioned me on Twitter. OK, that was cool. I always love hearing from what my friend calls my "Twitter Boyfriend" so that will always brighten my day. But, this was not a normal mention. No, not normal at all. In fact, this was far more than the usual tweet. This. Was. Epic. I mean, LOOK! Just look at it!
Not only did he link to an article about him on my website (where I *may* or *may not* have professed my cyber love for him) to all his 4,000 + followers, but he wrote "Pinky Lovejoy is hot!" and then the clincher (and, let's face it, my favorite part): "@pinkylovejoy + @keithcoogan" (which is essentially the cyber version of carving our initials into a tree, just in case you didn't know).
Yep, you guessed it: My head exploded! If that weren't enough, when I logged into Facebook, he'd posted the same thing there AND even tagged me in the post! Holy Holy! I can't be sure, but I think he just asked me to go steady. Or he proposed. I'm not certain. Either way, my heart beats for Keith Coogan (which, really, is no surprise at all to anyone who knows me - especially considering that this picture has been firmly next to my desk since we met).

Pinky's Fandance - Bill Bellamy

Bill Bellamy did not like my camera - he thought it was too close, hence the picture from far away. Thankfully, it still turned out OK (unlike some other tragedies that happen when I hand my camera off to someone).
I liked his scarf. Very dandy.

This Made Me Laugh

Considering just how many people are updating their profile pics both on Twitter and Facebook in support of gay marriage, this made me chuckle even harder.
Actually, I do feel like I should change mine, too (but I hate doing what everyone else is doing, even if I totally support it). Who wants to be like everyone else? Can I silently support gay marriage and everyone's ability to choose to love who they will? Obviously I'm going to support it (hello, I'm practically a drag queen - wait, what does that even mean?). That's enough, right? Or do I need to change it?

Celebrity Wrap Up - Friday Edition

Hello and welcome to Friday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Cutest. Bathing. Suit. Ever. Do they make those for grown ups?
I seriously love them as a couple. They look like they have so much fun.
Here's proof that camo doesn't go with, well, anything.
Holy crap that lady is getting handsy with TC. She wants to do bad, bad things to him. You can tell.
Any parent that lets their kid rock out in a costume just because it's Tuesday is aces in my book. Nicely done, Gwen. Why should we have to wait for Halloween?

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

Buy This Now: Depeche Mode's Delta Machine

While I realize I'm probably completely biased because Depeche Mode is my second favorite band of all time, it doesn't make what I'm about to say any less true: You need to go out and buy the new Depeche Mode CD, "Delta Machine," RIGHT NOW. Seriously. If you like Depeche Mode (and, really, who doesn't?), then you owe it to yourself to buy this album.
Depeche Mode hasn't had any new music since the release of "Playing the Angel" in 2005 and let me tell you, they've hit a homerun with "Delta Machine." I haven't liked an album of theirs this much since I don't even know when. I've been listening to it constantly all morning and have yet to hear a song I don't like. It's the perfect combination of great lyrics, catchy tunes, and the amazing synth sound they're known for.
Of course, Dave Gahan's voice is always perfection - almost rivaling Robert Smith as the most amazing voice in music (although Robert will always win in my book, as his voice is my personal "oratory Prozac" and can calm me down from any less-than-perfect mood).
There's just something inherently cool about Depeche Mode. They are forever young, forever hip, and always re-inventing new and invigorating sounds. I love them. Buy this album! You can thank me later.

Pinky's Fandance - Dana Delany

For a long time, I've been lamenting the fact that I'd never even seen Dana Delany before. Apparently she's super nice, but I'd just never had the chance to meet her.
That is, until now. Yesterday she made a talk show appearance and I was finally able to meet her! Hooray! She looked so pretty - both her dress and her purse were gorgeous. So stoked!

Blast From The Past

The other day someone posted this on Facebook - some sort of poll results from high school. I don't really even remember this being done, but the results made me laugh. Talk show host? Let's do it! :)
While we're on the subject of memory lane, my brother Jay has been walking down it a bit lately and posting a flurry of old family pics. Yes, my hair is terrible. Let's pretend it looks good.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Thursday Edition

Hello and welcome to Thursday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
How's it goin', James? On your way to see your girl, Heidels?
Seeing SJP is kind of surreal - who knew she rode the subway? It seems so common.
Why is Clooney suddenly looking like a little old man? Is it just me?
Oh, TC....never stopping with the incessant waving. Are people really waving to you at every second of the day? Really?
Oh, Bradley. Are you in the middle of a hike across Europe right now? What's that? You're not? Then kindly go home and change.
