Pinky's Fandance - Jennifer Garner
Wasn't I *just* telling you about our successful day? Oh, that's right, I was. Probably the BIGGEST highlight (other than her husband, Ben...oh, crap, I'm getting ahead of myself), was seeing Jennifer Garner for the first time ever.
She was SO SO SO SO nice! I adore her. Love her work, love her family, love her personality. Luckiest. Woman. Alive. The fact that she's also nice and sweet to fans was just the icing on the cake!

Sammy & His Namesake
Yesterday was a really good day - not only did I get to spend most of it with my girl Lindsay and her hubby, Bret, but we had a VERY successful day to boot! More details will be shared later (when I'm not about to leave on a jet plane), but suffice it to say that this was one of the highlights:
How cute is Sam with Sammy? I'm not sure what was so interesting to Sammy in the far distance, but at least he got a snuggle from the guy he was named after.
When Sam first got there, he said, "Pinky, you're crazy!" because he thought I was only there for him. Surprisingly, I actually wasn't. Now, it didn't hurt that his name was on the Host Committee list and there was a good chance he'd show up, but I would've been fine either way. Still, it was super fun to see him and Missy and get a chance to chat. Of course, hugs never hurt either! Great send-off for me! :)

Fun with Friends!
Spent the day with lots of friends at the Hollywood Show today - here's a cute pic with "the girls" - Anushika and Lindsay.
Anushika came because she loves the Sound of Music and Lindsay came because she wanted to meet Aileen Quinn. I love how the show has so many different kinds of celebs. Fun times!

Pinky's Fandance - Laverne & Shirley cast
Today was a big day for me - meeting almost the entire cast from Laverne & Shirley!
I loved this show sooooo much growing up - I wanted to be Laverne and wear that cool "L" on my shirt - and I wanted to be Shirley so that I could date Carmine. I even tried to drink milk and Pepsi to see what all the fuss was about!
It was sooo cool to get a picture with everyone. I was thinking I could do that instead of the pic with both Laverne & Shirley, but then I saw their cute pose and couldn't resist getting both. Plus, the fact that they signed it is completely amazing. Love it!

Taylor Schilling just might be the luckiest girl in the world. Aside from their movie being terribly awful, she did get to lock lips with Zac Efron A LOT. Now THAT is lucky.

Today the strangest thing happened - I was recognized. That's right, little ol' me, Pinky Lovejoy, was recognized by one of my readers (!). Actually, it's not the first time this has happened - as it actually happened last week - but it was funny the way it all went down.
See, Sammy and I were walking to the Hollywood Show and noticed a big line. As we got close, I saw someone call out, "Pinky and Sammy! I saved you a spot!" Turns out, it was a super cute reader who said she recognized us from the site. How cool is that?!?! First of all, THANK YOU! Second of all, so fun to meet her! Finally, WOW! Thanks again!
The other funny thing that happened was that this Superman guy was lingering at the Hollywood show. At one point he was telling me to hold Sammy on my back with his arms on my shoulders "like me." Slowly but surely I'm making my way through all of the Brady Bunch kids. With the addition of Christopher Knight - aka Peter Brady - today, I only need Marcia and Jan to complete my collection! :)

There's nothing I hate more than looking forward to a film and have it totally suck. Even worse? Being SO excited for a film and going go see it the day it opens only to be bummed the whole time at the waste of time it turned out to be.
Needless to say, I was super psyched about seeing the new Zac Efron movie. Sadly, I turned out to be the UN lucky one for having to sit through this garbage.
Truth be told, the movie was *almost* saved by the promise of a naked Zac. Unfortunately, he was only naked for like 30 seconds - much too short to erase the garbage that was the rest of the film. Now, granted, it's a Nicholas Sparks movie, I should've expected a bunch of crappy schmaltz, but this atrocity was worse than my worst nightmares. FAIL.
Needless to say, I was super psyched about seeing the new Zac Efron movie. Sadly, I turned out to be the UN lucky one for having to sit through this garbage.

Squinkies for Me
So, when I was at my brother's house recently, the kids were showing me their newest toy craze, Squinkies. While I thought they were adorable, I didn't really think much more about them until they started putting them in McDonald's Happy Meals. Now I'm obsessed.
My computer at work is adorned with Squinkies, but I don't have nearly enough. I was checking online and they even have an Ariel set of Squinkies (!) (!) (!). Can you stand it?!? I must have this wonderful thing!

Pinky's Fandance - Cloris Leachman
I've always liked Cloris Leachman - ever since she tried to replace Mrs. G on The Facts of Life.
Everyone I know seems to have a picture with her, so when I saw that she'd be at a low-key event this week, I got my girl Lindsay to come down and meet me (the same place where we also saw James Spader). While Cloris was very nice, she definitely has a way she likes to take a picture. Not only did she place me where she wanted me to stand, but she pulled the camera in super close to our faces. Usually people want the camera far away (especially older people), but not Cloris. She knows what she likes and she's sticking to it!
