Um, Really?

The other day I was walking my dog when some guy started, well, hitting on me, I think. He was nervous, inquisitive, and awkward asking all these bizarre questions.

The clincher, of course, was that he said I looked "sharp." Um, no. I was wearing sweats and my Hello Kitty hat. I look comfortable, practical, and warm, yes. Sharp? NO. Never sharp.

Pinky's Fandance - Krysten Ritter

Krysten Ritter is sooooo nice. We met her at the Surfrider event several months ago and she was as cool as could be.

In fact, Bret and Linds snapped some pics of us talking on the beach later that day and we totally look like BFFs. Maybe it's the name? Kristens must just be awesome. :)

No Black Friday For Me

In case you were wondering, no, I didn't participate in Black Friday.

There's nothing I can figure I'd want more than my personal safety - those people are crazy!!! Blech. I'll pass.

A Girl Can Dream

We happened upon a PINKY star the other day on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I had NO idea I had a star! Why did no one tell me??

I mean, seriously, shouldn't I have been at the whole unveiling? I had a whole speech planned. Sheesh.

Pinky's Fandance - Brian Grazer

According to Linds, Brian Grazer hangs out in "the 'bu" (which is short for Malibu) all the time and she sees him there on a regular basis. For some reason, Lindsay's husband, Bret, thought Brian was going to be a jerk, so he basically dared me to ask him for a picture (Bret's a real meanie sometimes - ha!).

In truth, Brian was like the nicest person ever. If I didn't know better, I'd think he was purposely trying to prove Bret wrong. Regardless, it was a pleasure to meet him and I'm stoked he was so cool.

Top Five FAILS of the Day

Sammy's First Thanksgiving

I think it's fair to say that Sammy very much enjoyed Thanksgiving and all the yummy treats surrounding him.

I'll post the rest of our holiday pics tomorrow, but this one was too cute not to share right away. Isn't he the sweetest???

Pinky's Fandance - Rudolph Valentino

Now, before you say anything, I'm aware this is a terrible picture. But, here's the thing: It's still Rudoloph Valentino and he's like 102, so I'll take it.

He actually agreed to this picture - although, by the looks of it, it doesn't appear that way. However you slice it, Rudoph is a fashion legend and I was thrilled to meet him.

Autograph Success

My friend Scotty and I ventured over to The Cure concert the other day to see if we could catch Robert Smith arriving to his show.

From what we'd heard, he signed before the shows, not after as we'd hoped the other night. So, since it was the last night of the show, we thought we'd get lucky and meet Robert Smith.

One of the fans there was wearing this shirt. Isn't it amazing?!?!

I thought the crowd would be in control, but I was wrong. It was total madness. When Robert arrived, every single person there lost their minds. I got smashed into the fence. I took this picture after somehow escaping certain death.

Miraculously, I managed to get an autograph in all that craziness. Of course, I would've preferred a picture, but this was the closest I've ever been to Robert Smith, so I'll take it.
