Loved meeting the creator of Strawberry Shortcake, Muriel Fahrion, in Ohio last weekend!

What a little spitfire! She loved my tattoo (pic below) and said it was perfectly placed (it's on the top of my foot).

She also told me that she based the character of the Purple Pie Man on her old boss, but he never found out. HA! Loves it.

Rhode Island!!!

We are SO excited to be going back to Rhode Island this year for their comic con! It's one of our faves!

While I wish this had way more of his work, I'm super excited he was announced so soon! Score!

Twelve Years Ago....

Technically, our engagement anniversary is April 28, 2013, but since April 28, 2011 is Bubba's "Gotcha Day" I had to go with featuring our sweet boy on the actual date.

This is still one of my fave pics of us....taken the night we were engaged.

R.I.P. Val Kilmer

Man, this one hurt. Growing up, Val Kilmer was the epitome of cool. Movies like Top Secret, Real Genius, and Top Gun really made him just HUGE in the '80s. 

We had the pleasure of meeting him several years ago after a screening of his incredible one-man play, Citizen Cane. He and Keith were also in Jay and Silent Bob Reboot together, although we didn't see him while filming. Only 65. So sad. What a loss. R.I.P. Val!

Early Flirting with Keith

So, Keith and I met in February of 2013 and didn't see each other again until April of that same year.

In between the time we'd seen each other, we'd occasionally flirt back and forth online like this. So fun! Love this guy!

Loved seeing Garth Brooks today!

Was hoping to meet his wife, Trisha Yearwood, as she received her Hollywood Star on the Walk of Fame, but she didn't mingle with fans. Bummer! At least Garth was as cool as usual. :)
