Loves It

It's a little hard to tell in the picture, but at long last we found something to fit over the top of the cassette table to protect it! I'm SO excited.

And, yes, in case you're wondering, I do love this table every bit as much as I did when I first got it.

Kidding Reception

I LOVE the TV show Kidding starring Jim Carrey. He's doing some of his best work on the show and it's dark, edgy, funny, and incredibly entertaining.

Being able to attend the FYC screening for the show was a real treat. Initially we didn't get in and were on the waitlist, but by some miracle it opened up and we were able to go!

Who wouldn't want to play with puppets??!

They even had a donut wall (it's sideways, sorry about that).

We even got to see our awesome friends Erin and Moosie!

And these are our new friends...such a fun pic!

Pinky's Fandance - Julia Garner

Julia Garner is fantastic on Ozark, but we had the privilege of meeting her last night at an event for Dirty John, which she's also great in.

She had the cutest outfit and was such a sweetheart! Great meeting her.

Too often, I feel like all we do is talk about our problems, what's bothering us, or what's wrong with the world when, instead, we could be talking about all the amazing gifts we've been given and opportunities to shine.

Let's try to focus a little less on our issues and a little more on our wins. Perhaps we'll feel better about life overall if we try to make that a habit.

Gerard Cosmetics Rule!!!

Our dear friend Roby happens to work for Gerard Cosmetics, which is how I became introduced to them a few years ago. Ever since he sent me my first box of make-up, I was hooked! They have incredible lipstick, but the best product of all is their Eternal Eyeliner - it stays on all day! I've tried many, many different eyeliners over the years and this is the best one by far!

In this new batch, I was introduced to their brand new glitter lipstick - it totally rocks! I'm so grateful to Roby and everyone at Gerard Cosmetics for helping me look and feel my best. Thanks so much! You rock!

Pinky's Fandance - Molly McCook

Molly McCook joined the cast of Last Man Standing as the new Mandy this most recent season and I have to admit it was a hard transition for me, especially since they'd already switched out one daughter.

Still, she was very kind and happy to pose for pics with fans, which I always appreciate. Thanks, Molly!

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

Appreciation Post

Just wanted to take a moment to thank my awesome husband for being so supportive and going out of his way to make me happy even when it's super hard and annoying. We're once again in the middle of FYC season (the glorious few months mid-year where there are events happening basically every five minutes) and sometimes they're really hard to rally for, especially after working a long day and having the type of long commute Keith has.

This week has been especially hard because although I've been doing my best to try and not schedule them back-to-back, two events opened up and we ended up having five in a row. That's A LOT, especially considering we're leaving for St. Louis this weekend. THANK YOU, babe, for being such a trooper. I know these are a lot. I know you'd rather be home. I know they're stressful. I love you. I appreciate you. Thank you.

Pinky's Fandance - Penn Badgley

So, of course I've still been obsessing over my Hugh Grant photo and not getting a proper "camera shot" with him instead of just an iPhone pic.

This led to my over-analyzing my Penn picture (that smolder!) above and wanting to try a camera shot, as well. I know, greedy! But, he was still doing pics with everyone, so why not take advantage of the opportunity, right?

I'm actually pretty happy with both pics, although if I'm being honest, I like his face better in the first pic and my face better in the second pic. I can't win! :)
