Opening Night

On June 29th, Keith's new play Desperately Seeking Love held it opening night.

I was trying to take pictures of all the signs outside.

My friend Gerry is a HUGE Y&R fan, so I was cracking up seeing her next to Kate. I couldn't wait to see her fangirl out!

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

Yamato? More Like Yum-ato

Keith and I have a tradition after every successful comic con we survive from - we go to lunch at Yamato for some delicious teppanaki grill delights.

It was a beautiful (albeit WAY too hot) day when we went, so we snapped a few pics on our way.

Keith was a big fan of the meal. He even told the chef he was his biggest fan. LOL.

This, however, was a tasty treat. The chef had skills! Thanks, babe! I love our tradition!

Pinky's Fandance - Grant Imahara

I always love when my husband starts fanboying out over someone. The other night after his play, he noticed that Grant Imahara had been in the audience. At first he wasn't sure, but said he'd know if he heard him speak.

While he figured it out, I was outside chatting. Suddenly, Keith appeared all excited and said to grab my camera, it was Grant! It was adorable. Grant was super nice and it was fun to meet him.

This little guy is roasting! And, unfortunately, he can't take off his fur whenever he feels like it to cool off.

We are definitely using more A/C than we've ever used before...but we need to keep him happy and cool!

Pinky's Fandance - Ellen Crawford

As a HUGE fan of ER, I was beyond thrilled to find Ellen Crawford (who played Nurse Lydia Wright for the entire run of the show) and her husband (who also played her husband on the show) sitting next to me at Keith's play Friday night!

What a sweet lady! She was so friendly and kind. I loved that after Keith's opening scene she reached over and told me he did great.

So fun seeing them after the show! Very cool couple.

It's Way Too Hot Hot Hot

Los Angeles is in the middle of a heat wave right now and to say it's been hot is the understatement of the year. I mean, it's like Africa hot. It's so hot I'm drenched in sweat just by walking to my car.

Our weekend was spent literally doing as little as possible and sitting in our dark place with the A/C cranked on from morning until night. I'm not really sure how much more of this I can survive and it just started! Ugh.
