Family Picture Time

We *tried* to take a family picture over the 4th of July, but, alas, Sammy had other plans for us.

He was actively trying not to participate. Stubborn little puppers.

Pinky's Fandance - Garrett Clayton

Garrett Clayton was on the Teen Beach Movie on the Disney Channel last year which was a really fun movie. My niece and nephew LOVE it.

True confession time: We kinda loved it, too, so we were stoked to meet him at the premiere a few weeks back. Super nice guy!

Happy Birthday, Andrew!

Happy birthday to my adorable nephew, Andrew! Now, normally he would not let me near him because he's scared of my hair color, but apparently now it's normal enough to not fear me. Hooray!

Steve's Birthday

Our friend Steve threw himself a karaoke birthday party on Friday night, as well, so after Tracy's, we headed over to karaoke.

Pinky's Fandance - Lauren Ash

Lauren Ash is one of the funniest characters on Superstore - she's so freaking hilarious. Her deadpan is something to be reckoned with.

I really enjoyed her when she was on Super Fun Night, as well. Super cool girl.

Friday Night Fun

We started our long weekend off with a visit to our friends' Paul and Tracy's house.

We've hung out over there before and have met a long of their super cool friends.

We had a blast! Really fun group of people.

Top Five LOL Animals of the Day

Angelic 2 the Core Album Release Party

We had the privilege of attending our dear friend Corey Feldman's album release party the other night for his new double album, Angelic 2 the Core.

What a super fun night!

Corey has been working on this album for gen years, so we're so proud of him and what he's accomplished!

Speaking of accomplishments, on a small side note, check out my pose! Keith has been trying to teach me how to best pose on the red carpet and this was the first time I liked my stand. Wahoo!

Of course, it's my front braid I'm digging the most.

Corey started the night with some words about his journey to releasing the album and all the hard work that entailed.

It's always great to see Courtney! What a sweetie.

But getting all the angels in one shot?! Come on!

I'm not sure why I'm cut out of this, but it's totally cool. No one is looking at me anyway.

Seriously, we had so much fun. It was a great night.

Jamison Newlander was in Lost Boys with Corey and has known the guys forever.

Her sparkles were amazing.

As most great nights often do, we ended up at Bob's Big Boy late into the evening. Too bad Bob was being a total diva and wouldn't even look at the camera. Congrats to Corey!

Pinky's Fandance - Damon Lindelof

Just in case I haven't mentioned it before, my husband is a huge Lost fan. Like, he'd still talk about it all day long if he could.

So, getting to meet one of the creators of his beloved show was a BIG deal. Like, a BIG deal. I was so excited to see it happen! Look at his happy face! Damon is the nicest and we LOVE his new show, The Leftovers. Brilliant guy!

Watch This: Roadies

It's not often you see ten minutes of a show and become instantly hooked, especially when it's the last ten minutes and you really have no idea what's even happening.

Still, that's exactly what happened to me after watching ten minutes of the end of the first episode of Cameron Crowe's new TV show, Roadies. Instantly hooked!

Of course, I'm not really surprised, after loving most everything Cameron Crowe touches. This show is awesome, though. Great cast, awesome writing, and extraordinary music. I can't wait to watch more! So happy to have stuff to binge watch over the summer. Hooray!
