So, when I saw him walking up the aisle at Sundance this year, I popped up right away to get a picture. Wahoo! It's Mango himself! I swear I heard that song in my head (you know the one where he bobs his head). Love. Him.
While eating at the restaurant in Wyoming the other day, we came across an, um, interesting display of people. M took this covert picture, but once they got up to leave it got even better. Half of them were in head-to-toe tassles and then one random person had some sort of Scottish outfit on. WTH??? We couldn't figure out if they were celebrating some sort of holiday, dressed up for a reason, or just wearing their Sunday best. Either way, I had to document it and share it with you.

I'm going to pretend Matthew Mc-con-a-hottie isn't really wearing a headband/whatever-is-in-his-hair. While it'd be better if he took off his shirt, I like the family dynamic. Super cute.

Yesterday I finally caved and went to buy some cough/cold medicine at the store (mental note: stock up on these supplies BEFORE you get sick, or else you'll end up paying any sum of money for cold remedies). Now, in the past I've been a huge proponent of those Zicam sticks that go in your nose. They're miraculous. So, it would make sense that when I saw that Zicam also made a cough syrup, I jumped all over it. Alas, it is awful. They *claim* that you can pour it into ANY drink and it'll be virtually tasteless. THIS IS A BIG, FAT LIE. Thank you, Zicam, for ruining my Diet Pepsi and not making me feel any better. I hate you.
Years later he'd star on Doctor Quinn, Medicine Woman and now he's in indie films. I saw him on Main Street a few years ago hanging out with this other actor I love and he was really sweet.
Many apologies for lagging on the blog the past few days. I could tell you a million reasons why I didn't update, but I'm not going to. Plus, I'm sick, so I can't be expected to do much of anything, right?Anyway, where were we? Oh, yes. The quick trip to Wyoming on 
place with dinosaurs outside and had to snap a few pictures. Yep, that's about as much of M as I'm going to show you (I'm such a tease). I'd never been to Evanston before and it was only 82 miles away, so we jumped in M's car and headed that way. It was a nice drive and a fun little adventure, despite my voice capability being next to nothing. I think by last night M was ready to kill me (or at least be really, really frustrated by my inability to do anything more than squeak). Oh, well. Hopefully it's just temporary, right?
I'm starting to think that when Chris Pine opens his closet, it's packed full of white t-shirts and jeans. Not that I'm complaining...just making an observation.

As I was walking by, I saw Eddie sitting in a bar by himself. I had to walk by a few times before I knew it was him and even then I wasn't sure (sunglasses inside?). Finally I just asked if he was Eddie Griffin and he said yes, so I went in and chatted with him for a bit before getting a picture. He was a cool cat. Didn't seem bothered by my intrusion at all. Love that.
Today is a much better day already. I think being able to sleep more than two hours was probably just what the doctor ordered. The main problem yesterday was that M and I stayed up until 4 in the morning drinking and fighting (so much so that I lost my voice). What were we fighting about? Yeah, who knows. Mental note: Do not drink rum after already imbibing half a bottle of wine. Last night we were trying to reconstruct the night to make sense of what happened and there's about four hours I've lost track of (sadly, I did call AFMF five times according to my phone log. Holy crap. That is horrifying). Needless to say, I won't be drinking rum again anytime soon. But at least I feel better today. :)

It was a bad night and has been an even worse day. I'm not going to get into it, but suffice it to say that I hate everyone and everything and I'm looking forward to three days of being trapped in my house like a shut-in avoiding the world. That sounds perfect to me. Everything sucks.
Although I didn't see the movie at the festival, I knew it had a lot of buzz, so I was excited to see him at the Closing Night Party. This is what I need to do more of - get pics with people up and coming. I just saw a movie the other day with a guy I didn't ask for a picture this year. Total mis-step. On a side note, why do all my pictures from this year show off my tomato red face?
