The Return of Galoon

I can't believe I failed to mention the special visitor who attended Girl's Weekend with me. That's right, our dearly beloved Galoon! He was super excited to see his Auntie T (who he went to New Orleans with last year). Obviously, he was a huge drunk - can you see the big glass in his hand? Lush. I also took Babaloo (the blue monkey friend he brought back from his trip), but I discovered that he makes these horrible monkey sounds. Therefore, Babaloo is now living with my friend's son....he'll take better care of him anyway.

Galoon's Return & Cafe Alex

After Mesquite, I stopped in Las Vegas and had a little bit to eat at my friend Alex's house (she made me tacos - yum!). As I'd picked up Galoon and his new friend at Crusty's (welcome home, Galoon!), I wanted to introduce him to Alex. Obviously, she was super excited to meet him! :) Then again, who wouldn't be?

With Galoon finishing his adventures in New Orleans and Lake Havasu with Auntie T, he was ready for something new. Luckily, Auntie Crusty is going on a cruise this week, so Auntie T sent Galoon directly to Auntie Crusty for the trip. Apparently, Galoon arrived with a new blue friend! If you'll recall, this blue friend was in a lot of the pictures from New Orleans. As far as we know, there's no name as yet...so now we have to name him! Any suggestions?

And so it is that Galoon is off on another adventure. That's right - he went home with T (the same T who took him to Hawaii) and is going to explore New Orleans with her. Why does Galoon go everywhere before me? At least we'll get some good pictures! Perhaps he'll get some beads? :)

Galoon at the Fest

Charles was able to hang out with Galoon this morning before heading off to his flight. Obviously, he was stoked. Who wouldn't be? And, yes, Galoon loved his first Sundance experience.
