A few years ago we had the privilege of meeting Denise Nickerson who played Violet Beauregarde in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. She's the one who turned violet and into a big ol' blueberry.
She couldn't have been sweeter. Yesterday she passed away at the far-too-young age of 62. R.I.P. Denise. You'll be missed.
