John Robinson was the long haired lead in Lords of Dogtown, which is a fantastic movie (and if you haven't watched it yet, you should).
He was hard to recognize due to the short hair, but we saw him go into the event and then had some time to research who he was before he came back out. Luckily, we were able to track down his name and imdb list of credits in no time. Wahoo!
