Stalking Ernest Borgnine

These pictures crack me up. You see, Ernest Borgnine was also at the Hollywood Collector's Show this weekend, but he charged $20 for a picture. Now, I appreciate his work as much as the next guy, but $20 is a little too much for a picture.
As luck would have it, my friend and I saw Ernest walking around in the room and we thought maybe we could get a picture then. First attempt - I called to him, I tapped him on the shoulder....NO response whatsoever.
Second attempt - My friend tapped Ernest on the shoulder and called out to him...again..NO response. Has he lost all sense of touch and sound? Or was he just blatantly ignoring us?
In the midst of our attempt, Ernest stopped to talk with Ed Asner, which was funny to watch. They were calling each other "Old Man."
Finally, when he walked by, we got a somewhat passable picture. Sure, he wasn't exactly looking or posing, but no matter. What else could I do when he ignored us? It was the best I can do...plus, the whole experience cracks me up! ;)
