Happy Birthday, Zoe & O!

While we were on our trip, two of our awesome relatives turned 12!

Our niece, Zoey, turned 12 actually while we were in Colorado. It was fun being with her on her birthday morning!

And our nephew Owen turned 12 on Sunday! So much love for these kids! Hope they had the best birthdays ever!

Pinky's Fandance - Melody Anderson

While we've done a ton of shows with Flash Gordon himself, Sam Jones, this was the first show where we met his love interest (I think?) on the show, Melody Anderson.

Melody's table was right down the way from us, so she had to walk by our booth a million times a day. Lovely lady!

R.I.P. Jay Thomas

While we were on our trip, I learned about the passing of Jay Thomas.

I always loved his work, especially on Cheers, and was fortunate to meet him at Sundance a few years ago. Very nice man. He will be missed.

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

New Merch!

After the neverending fight with Dollar Tree, I finally received my merch! Sadly, it never did get delivered to me (no comment) and I had to go pick it up an hour away, but no matter! I finally got my customizable tumblers! Hooray!

This was my tester today and I LOVE it! Can't wait to see how these sell at shows! :)  We can put any of Keith's movies inside and he can autograph them! So neat.

You know, for being such a villain on TV (is he still a villain? I haven't watched in a trillion years), Christian LeBlanc sure is sweet.

I've had the pleasure of meeting him on several occasions and he's always the nicest guy.

Eclipse Pics

I was so sure I'd somehow look at the sun and blind myself that I'll admit to being a bit terrified of the eclipse on Monday.

At work we gathered outside with various boxes and tricks up our sleeve to watch it without blinding ourselves. I loved how tiny the eclipse was through these glasses!

This, of course, is the obligatory shadows formed by the sliver. I loved it!

Daytime After Dark

We spent Sunday night supporting our friend Sean Kanan who put on a comedy show called Daytime After Dark featuring comedians who also work in soap operas.

It was fun to check out a new theater and see so many friends old and new.

The show was funny and had some interesting interactive media behind some of the acts.

Loved seeing Jeremy, Joanie, and Paul (who wrote the movie, Limelight, which is premiering in a few weeks). What an unexpected surprise!

Jennifer Gareis just looks like she was made for soap operas, right? She's got such a soap opera look, I love it.

She's spent the majority of the last several years on The Bold and the Beautiful and before that was on The Young and the Restless. Super nice girl!

Dream Hair Color Achieved

Huge thanks to my husband and colorist, Keith, for doing such an awesome job with my hair this weekend. 

Ever since we dyed my hair brown I've been HATING the color. Yes, it was healthier, but it was so boring! I kept saying all I needed was a few blonde highlights and some pink.

Behold, my dream hair color!

I actually paid someone to do this a long time ago and she messed it up SO bad.

Yes, it was a lot of work and Keith was none too pleased about doing it, but once it was over we were both thrilled with the results.
