Pinky's Fandance - Alan Thicke

I was able to met Alan Thicke at a celebrity golf tournament last weekend. Super cool guy!

I'd met his son at Sundance years ago, but this was my first time meeting Alan. I knew if I tried to speak, I'd blather on about being good friends with Jeremy, so I tried my best to just ask for the picture and be on my way. Success!

Bad Mood Ahead

I'm not in a good mood. Haven't been for awhile now. I'm not sure why. Am I tired? Run down? Stressed out? Sure. All of those. But, I think it's more than that.

I found out some horrible news about a good friend of mine last weekend and it's really bothering me. I'm not sure how to process it. I feel stupid. I feel helpless. And I'm just so sad for everyone involved.

Of course, it doesn't help that I'm learning new stuff at work that just frustrates me, as my patience is the length of a pea right now.

In addition to that, our house is really unorganized and I think that's my last straw. There doesn't seem to be anywhere I can go to have a zen moment and relax. I'm constantly surrounded by stress and chaos. 

The goal for this weekend is to get our house in order. It's a lofty goal. Perhaps too lofty. But, we have to try. I can't stand it. I'm about to scream.

I don't know what's going to happen, I'm just sick of being mad all the time. It's not good for me. It's definitely not good for Keith, who's receiving the brunt of it. Poor thing.

Please send positive thoughts our way. Hopefully our house can organize itself and turn into a place of tranquility. That could happen, right?

Brunch at Casa del Mar

Our friends Tonya and Steve were in town for their wedding anniversary this weekend and we had the opportunity to share Sunday brunch with them at this magnificent location in Santa Monica, Casa del Mar.

They had the best room ever! This was from the patio in their room. Amazing, right?

I'd been to the hotel before briefly, but had never eaten there before. From where we sat, the view was gorgeous! The food was fine, but the service was terrible. I mean, for such a fancy place they should be ashamed of themselves. Even worse? When I contacted them about it on their website, I never even received a reply back. Horrible!

Thankfully, we just tried to enjoy the beauty of the day spent hanging out with good friends. So great to see them!

I loved Rupert Friend on The Young Victoria and he's great on Homeland, as well.

Of course, the fact that he's not bad on the eyes doesn't hurt either. Let's just pretend I don't have some massive bump on my nose. #lame
