Since I love Once Upon A Time so much, I was thrilled to see Robert Carlyle back at Sundance.

Another Day, Another Snow Bank
While I don't want to sound like a big crybaby, I'm afraid this Festival has been quite challenging for me this year. From my illness to the pipes bursting in my condo to the never ending snow and my inability to drive in it with my car, I feel ready to scream / cry / curl up in a ball and never come out.
I miss my dog. I thought I'd be able to sneak away to see him, but this snow has trapped me on this mountain unable to even drive back to my condo. In Park City! For years I went back & forth to SLC and now I can't even get around in town.
Of course it's not all bad - I've had fun with my girl, Heidels, we've got some great shots and I've seen some good films. But I'm tired. I'm cold. I want to go home.

Unicorn City!
We were literally just talking about how Tommy Lee is one of our unicorns because he's always at Sundance, but we've never seen him (probably because he's not normally seen in the daylight).
Today all that changed when Tommy Lee appeared in close proximity and became a unicorn no more. Hooray!

Old Faithfuls
These are my trusty boots my mom and I found in Iowa several years ago. They've been very good to me and stand up to the cold - while still being adorable - time and time again.

Will Forte Rules
The funniest part of our day was seeing Will Forte. Shortly before we saw him, some random guy came and told me I had the most beautiful face and eyes he'd ever seen (I literally started laughing out loud when he said it). So, he said this incredibly kind compliment and then walked away.
In the meantime, Will Forte got out of a car and came over for pics. I thanked him for always being so nice and he said, "What? F$&@ you" in this hilarious way - we were cracking up. Then, as he walked away, I asked Will if he'd forgive me for calling him the wrong name earlier. Basically I asked if we were breaking up. His response? "We'll never break up!" At that exact moment, the complimentary guy from earlier walked by and was like, "What?! Are you cheating on me?!" Too funny!

So Much Snow
I'm not sure these pictures accurately display the horror that went down in Park City, UT today, but I can assure you that it sucks.
In all eleven years here, I've never been so cold, seen so much snow, or been as miserable as I was today. To add insult to injury, my car got stuck in the snow after sliding off the road not once, but twice on my way home. I couldn't even get my car home and it's now in a parking garage a few streets away. I walked the rest of the way in the freezing cold, arms full, after a day of suck.
So far, not a great start. Violently ill, car not working great, and I'm cold and still sick.
At least I've got my trusty boots to protect my tootsie feet. Phew!
