Year End Thoughts

While I totally and completely support this card:
I think there are a few tiny things to review before we throw ourselves head first into the brand new year.
First of all, Chord Overstreet tweeted this out on New Year's Eve. As he sent it to his Twitter followers, and I just happen to be one of his Twitter followers, I'm pretty sure that means he loves me, right? Right? I mean, there's no mistaking his words - he clearly says, "I love you, Pinky (NOTE: the Pinky is implied)"
Secondly, Heidels posted this the other day and I thought it was lovely. Enjoy.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Saturday Edition

Hello and welcome to Saturday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
How adorable is Orly with his little boy? Too cute!
Oh, no. I hope Malin isn't going the way of Jessica Simpson with her pregnancy. Keep your hand away!
Nice poncho.
She's not serious about that outfit, is she? I mean, that has to be a joke.
Look at those little fashionistas! Love it.

Top Five FAILS of the Day

The Hollywood Show! New Location! Come One! Come All!

I'm so excited to tell you about the first Hollywood Show of the year. Not only does it boast a list of over 90 of your favorite celebrities, but it will be the very first show in the NEW location at The Westin by LAX!
To check out a full list of the celebrities scheduled to attend, please visit www.hollywoodshow.com and click on the LA site. You'll be happy you did!
I can't wait to check out the new digs and see what it has to offer.
This is a picture of their lobby. Looks great! Definitely seems to have more room for everyone. They'll need more room to hold all the reunions including cast members from “Bewitched“, "The Beverly Hillbillies", Porkys, "Leave it to Beaver", and one of the largest assembly of cast members from the James Bond franchise.
In terms of celebrities, I can't decide which ones I'm most excited for. The one that made me squeal with glee is from my beloved Ice Castles movie from the '70s.
That's right - Lynn Holly Johnson will be there! Can't wait to meet her! :)
Also exciting? Debbie Gibson - the '80s pop singer. Wahoo!
Michael Madsen is someone I've never seen before....
And Tony Dow will be fun to meet. Make sure to check it out!

Pinky's Fandance Redux - James LeGros

Yesterday we looked back at my first celeb pic ever; today we're taking a look back at my first Sundance celeb who invited me to take a picture with him and, therefore, taught me that it was OK to pose WITH celebs and not just take pics OF them (which is what I had been doing up until this point).
Thank goodness for the kindness of James LeGros. I was trying to snap a picture of him at the premiere of XX/XY in 2002 when he said, "Why don't you wait afterwards and I'll take a picture with you." What now? This actually happens? Sure enough, when the movie was over, James actually waited outside for me. Who does that?!?!
The next year I saw him again at the same theater and when I asked if he remembered me, he said, "Yeah, we took a picture here last year." LOVE HIM. I'm kinda bummed I've never seen him since, but I love seeing him on my fave shows (specifically Girls). Hopefully I'll get to see him again someday so that I can tell him that he's the coolest guy ever. :)

Don't Let The Door Hit You On The Way Out 2012...

I have to admit that I'm pretty happy for 2012 to be over with. Don't get me wrong - there's plenty of things to be thankful for overall - but in general I thought the year was crap. Maybe it was the four friends passing away....or the giant snow storm at Sundance....or getting trapped in Customs in London. I dunno. Regardless, I'm just happy for a new year to be here. Hooray for 2013!
As an added bonus, my last day of the year was particularly crappy. Work was fine (except for Crush not wanting to spend New Year's with me...whatever...I don't care.....obviously, I don't care...as you can see, I really don't care. Have I mentioned that I don't care?), but then I made the terrible, horrible, awful, grave mistake of thinking I could pop into Costco and Walmart for a quick second. Pro tip: Don't EVER go to Costco and/or Walmart on New Year's Eve. YOU WILL REGRET IT. Trust me.
First sign of trouble: No parking at Costco. I should've left right then. My entire reason for going is that I needed allergy medicine and they happen to have the generic version of Claritin D for like $5. As much as I hate going to Costco, it's worth it for that alone. I thought while I was there I'd also pick up some treats for Sammy and a cheese pizza. Problem? There weren't the right treats for Sammy, so he didn't get those. The cheese pizzas? All sold out. So, I got a pepperoni. Then, I went to stand in the ridiculously long line for the pharmacy, only to learn when I finally got to the front (after standing behind a woman wearing the most horribly inappropriate outfit for her age and size....which, of course, I couldn't look away from like a car accident), I was informed that they were out of my generic version of Claritin D. Great. My entire reason for going. So, I paid WAY too much for Claritin D and then had the joy of standing in yet another line for the pizza. As is my luck, I picked the wrong line (I have a special skill of doing this), where the cashier was slow, the people in front of me were idiots, AND when I finally got to the front of the line they decided to do a SHIFT CHANGE so I had to wait for them to count out the registers. Oh, joy. Just what I wanted: More waiting.
Walmart was packed to the gills with people who shouldn't ever leave the house. By this time I was starving, so I picked up a Happy Meal at McDonald's (don't judge me; I like the toys). I thought, like always, that I could manage everything I needed without a cart or a basket, but, of course, this was another mistake. I was spilling things left and right. I finally made it to a register only to be behind a 100-year-old couple with 49 pieces of produce that they had to place on the register in some sort of order (does it really matter how they go?). Geez! By the time I got home, my purse tumbled to the ground as a final insult to my crap day. Oh, and I didn't even mention the four day migraine I was rocking from hitting my head on the top of the car during our drive. So, there's that. Needless to say, I'm more than happy for that entire year to be over with. See ya later, 2012! You sucked.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Friday Edition

Hello and welcome to Friday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Why doesn't Jen look more excited to see the gun show? Holy heck, where did Justin get that hot bod?!? YUM.
Is it Halloween?
Somebody was a big fan of The Terminator. Yikes.
Piper, love, put on a bra. Or a slip. Just anything, ANYTHING, under that outfit. Please.
Taylor, my dear, what did I tell you about my boyfriend, Harry??!?! Stay away and no one gets hurt, m'kay?

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

Love It!

Bretty just posted this picture from our fun trip and I have to say I LOVE it!
Of course, it could be because my hair looks exceptionally fantastic in this photo, but no matter. I'll take it! :)

Pinky's Fandance Redux - Jason Bateman

As we start off the new year, I thought I'd look back at my very first celebrity photo where it all began....the one and only Jason Bateman.
This picture makes me laugh because of the tight grip I have on Jason's waist. Was I ever going to let him go?
We were actually posing with a girl named Anne who's the one who was able to get me the picture with him. Score!
Soon after I moved to LA, I ran into Jason at a movie theater. I thought he'd enjoy hearing how he was my first and showed him the picture...yeah, he wasn't all that interested. Oh, well.
Not long after, I saw him again at a movie premiere. I like the color of this picture.
This year I saw him again at a charity event. While he complained about us being there shortly after this picture was taken, at least he agreed to take it, right? :)

Looking forward to what this new year brings! :)

Happy New Year!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Thursday Edition

Hello and welcome to Thursday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.
Well, at least he's only posing with a dog and not an actual wolf like he plays on the movies.
Man, that belt looks all kinds of uncomfortable.
Does he think if he walks fast enough he can possibly ditch her?
Is she performing in some live action performance of Grease?
Do I even want to know what's going on in this picture?
