Celebrity Wrap Up - Saturday Edition

Hello and welcome to Saturday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. I was wondering what happened to the feathers in my pillow - apparently Camilla Belle stole them and had them glued into some makeshift dress. That bitch.I had no idea they made green snuggies.I have no words. OK, maybe a few. Why is Lindsay wearing MC Hammer pants made out of curtains and a dead animal as a vest? Now, who on earth would try to cover up a too-short skirt by wearing a foot of tulle around it? Even worse? Matching outfits with your sister.
Um, Justin Bieber, I'm aware that this girl is your biggest fan in the world, but let's not forget that she's THREE. I'm not sure having her straddle your pre-pubescent body is the best move you could be making there. I'm just saying.

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

Ed Harris Hates Me

Did you ever see that movie Milk Money? Where the boy uses his allowance to find a wife for his dad? Too cute. Ed Harris was a dream come true in that movie (as a side note, Melanie Griffith was also in that movie, so perhaps it was destiny that I met them both on the same weekend?). I've always wanted to meet him, so when I saw he was starring in a play in LA, I went to the theater to see if I could get a picture with him. Flash forward to him standing in front of me saying, "I don't feel like taking pictures tonight." Wow. Really? That's a new one. I then proceeded to plead my case that I'd driven from Salt Lake (which, again, was technically true), so he said, "Fine, take your picture (!)." Yeah, he hates me. Seriously, I know it doesn't sound like it was that bad, but I'm telling you - if I could relay the tone of his voice, or play it backwards on a record player, it would say, "I hate you, Pinky Lovejoy." Side note: If you'll notice, I've got a particularly strange expression on my face. See my eyes? That's pure fear. I thought he might kill me. Look at his hand - he could've snapped my neck!

Don't Tell Me What To Do

I'm sure it's no surprise that I don't like being told what to do - I mean, who would? What's got me in a tizzy lately are people who tell you to call them. I'm sorry - did they break their fingers? Are they trapped under something heavy? Did they lose my number? Why must I call them? Why can't they call me? Or text me? It's not hard. If a conversation ends with, "OK, call me later" I will make a mental note to never call this person again. All right, I know, that was drastic, but you get my point. Life is hard enough - why do I need a million bosses? I've got enough right now, thankyouverymuch.

There's Nothing Like Family

Despite running around California like a chicken with her head cut off, I was able to spend at least a little bit of time with my favorite people in the world - my family. True, having more time would've been nice, but I'll get to see them all again next week when I go down for Ava's birthday. I think the pics turned out super cute.

Celebrity Wrap Up - Friday Edition

Hello and welcome to Friday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. Do you think Robert Pattinson ever showers? Why must he constantly look homeless? LOVE the pink scarf, SJP! Nicely done. Cute shoes, too. Holy crap, when did Michelle Trachtenberg die?Why is Nicolas Cage trying to give me a heart attack? Doesn't he know I cannot condone such a ridiculous wig? Bring me back the Nic Cage from Valley Girl. That'd be great.
Well, that certainly gives a whole new meaning to a cellular phone.

Top Five FAILS of the Day

Annette Benning Could Take Some Tips

Alan Ruck (aka Cameron on Ferris Bueller's Day Off) is the model of pure class. His wife is currently appearing in the same play as one Annette Benning and apparently he walks over to pick her up after every performance (*swoon* - how fantastic is that?). See, he's not even IN the play, yet when fans ask for autographs, he signs. When a fan approaches him for a picture, he obliges. Sure, he might look grumpy in the picture (when he was actually quite lovely in person), but the point is that he took it. See, Annette. Take some notes.

Trip Pics Coming To A Blog Near You

I've got a plethora of fun and cute pictures from my trip, but putting them all up at once would be way too time consuming and not as much fun. Dragging it out forever seems better, right? For now, I'll just share this picture from the other night in Northern California with N. Isn't he such a cute boy? We had a great time.

An Open Letter to Annette Benning

Dear Annette Benning (aka Wicked Witch of the West), It was thrilling for me to meet you in person the other night as you left the play you're currently starring in. Despite hearing that you were rather surly, I had high hopes that perhaps all the naysayers were wrong. When I saw you signing autographs, my spirits soared and I thought this was finally my chance to get a picture with you. I mean, come on - it's not an unreasonable request. I was at your show. There were five autograph hounds (aka: people who make their living by SELLING these autographs, so they're not even true fans) in front of me and they all got an autograph. I was the only one requesting a picture and it would've taken approximately two seconds out of your busy life to do it. Instead, I was met with the curt response that you're with your daughter and don't take pictures in front of her. Um, what? First of all, you were signing autographs. How exactly is that different? Second of all, your daughter has Annette Benning as a mother, Warren Beatty as a father and Shirley MacClaine as an Aunt. I'm fairly certain she's seen a relative pose for a picture. It's not like I was asking you to donate a kidney. Finally, get a grip. There's no reason to reject a simple request (from someone who'd driven in from another state no less) because of some made-up bullshit reason. No one is buying what you're trying to sell here. Luckily, I'll be back in LA next weekend and am now even more determined to get a picture. I'll be seeing you after each and every show. Yeah, that's right. I'm coming for you, Benning. Get ready. This picture will be mine. :) And if not, I'll just continue to slag you on my blog for the rest of my natural born life. A Disappointed Fan, Pinky Lovejoy

Pinkalicious!

My super cute friend Corrine surprised me today with this amazing toy. One look at the doll and I immediately said, "It's Pinkalicious!" I have way too much time on my hands if I'm able to name random Burger King toys at the drop of a hat. Still, I love my new Pinkalicious. She's adorable!

Celebrity Wrap Up - Thursday Edition

Hello and welcome to Thursday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up. Yes, Bradley Cooper, I will be your loveslave, I will birth your children, I will be your everything.Would someone please lock this lady away so that we're no longer subjected to see her and her awful taste in clothes? Susan Boyle makes my eyes bleed.Wearing a tree as a hat? Genius or dangerous? Lady Gaga has impeccable balance. I'd topple right over if I were wearing branches on my head.Ah, Mariah Carey. So subtle, per usual.
I thought the point of leggings were to go under, say, a short skirt? I don't think they're meant to be worn around while sticking to your skin. Lindsay does have a robotic quality in that outfit, though. Bless her heart.

Bow down to Princess Ava, peasants! ;)

Owen the Power Ranger

My sister sent Jay's kids some cute dress up stuff. Love it!
