Celebrity Wrap Up - Wednesday Edition

Hello and welcome to Wednesday's edition of Celebrity Wrap Up.

Loved the pop of color on her dress. It was refreshing in such a dismal color palette (yes, I think the cause is amazing and I support it, but I'm not really sure why the color black was chosen. Why not pink? Yellow? Something bright and cheery? Funeral colors seemed like a weird way to go). 

This felt like a kinda basic dress. Of course she can pull off anything, but on camera it lacked pizzazz.

I'm most interested in whatever is giving her that incredible hourglass shape. How many girdles is she wearing?!?

Why is she so tired?

Her hair was so wild and crazy and I loved it.

Our holiday card collection was great this year - in fact, we filled up our entire card area and had to keep some not hung up.

As you probably know, Christmas cards are one of my all-time favorite things (especially picture cards), so these bring me great joy every year. We got some really neat ones! Love them all.

Pinky's Fandance - Corey Feldman

You know, even before I'd met Keith, I was a huge fan of Corey Feldman (and Corey Haim, for that matter). I'd already met Feldman on my own three different times before we got married.

Of course, since then we've seen Corey at various events, concerts, and premieres and we always love seeing him and his beautiful wife, Courtney. This might be my fave picture yet, though. I love how smiley we all are!

If you look closely at this culinary delight, you'll see that my sister, Erin, lovingly created my homemade chocolate using flamingo molds!

How cool is that?! Love them! They tasted pretty great, too!

So....here's the truth about the premiere the other night. We were late. Keith didn't get off work early as planned and then hit traffic. We then hit traffic on the way there and ended up getting there right as they closed the red carpet.

We did manage to get this cute shot on the way....

And Keith successfully crashed a group shot with the cast.

This one makes me laugh. It's like he was being sure to say, "But we were here, too!"

Pinky's Fandance - Brigid Brannagh

Brigid Brannagh recently played one of my favorite patients at Grey-Sloan Memorial on Grey's Anatomy, so I was thrilled to meet her at the wrap party for the Corey movie.

Such a sweetheart! And what a small world - her friend knows some of my friends from home.

So Cute!

Found this while looking for shots from the A Tale of Two Coreys film and totally fell in love with it.

The only thing that could have made it better would be a Keith sighting somewhere in the shot! Very sad I never had the chance to meet Corey Haim. R.I.P.

See This: A Tale of Two Coreys

We had the opportunity and privilege of seeing A Tale of Two Coreys last night at the premiere. What a great film! Seriously, we were completely blown away.

My husband has a small (but super creepy) role in the film and did a great job (almost TOO great when he comes off as creepy as he does).  

The actors who portrayed both the teen and adult Coreys did awesome. They totally knocked it out of the park.

It was interesting because we've known them since this filmed last year and some looked more like their role than others. Yet every single one morphed onscreen into their role. It was brilliant.

The film was heartbreaking, interesting, sentimental, beautiful, and sad. 

Congrats to everyone involved. Oh, and it airs in the US on Saturday night on Lifetime TV. Check it out!

Pinky's Fandance - Richard Jenkins

Richard Jenkins is incredible in everything he does. I LOVED him as the deceased dad in Six Feet Under and pretty much everything he's done since. Did you see The Visitor? AMAZING work there.

Aside from wanting to see The Shape of Water (which, as you know, we absolutely loved), the thing I was most excited about was meeting Richard Jenkins. He did not disappoint!

Richard was as kind and awesome as you'd expect. After getting a few on my own in a rush, I saw that we had time for a calm, nice photo (that's what Keith likes - he hates the madness and crunch when fans bum-rush celebs).  

Richard, of course, was also incredible in the film. Check it out! I can't say that enough.
