Pinky's Fandance - Shemar Moore

How much of a dream is Shemar Moore? Seriously. Because that boy is FINE.

He also happens to be the sweetest guy ever! I'd made this sign for me and my friend Analiese so that he'd be sure to come over to the rail after the show he was filming, but it turns out we didn't even need it. Shemar was more than happy to do pics as soon as he arrived. He thanked me for the sign and said he appreciated the love. *swoon*

Of course, I had to also get a cheek to cheek picture with him. How could I resist?

Cambria Scarecrows - Part One

One of the main reasons we love going to Cambria during our anniversary is to see the amazing scarecrows around town that are put up for the Cambria Scarecrow Festival which is held in October of every year.

These were outside our hotel.

I always love scarecrows that match the business.

This was for an animal business. Perfect!

Technically, this is a window washer scarecrow, but to me it looked like Mary Poppins needed a drink.

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

Slight Interruption in Anniversary Fun

So, while we were always going to have a brief moment of being between hotels on Friday (since we were staying in Pismo from Wednesday through Friday and then Cambria from Friday through Sunday), we ended up veering from our path a bit after I learned that my friend Bryan's dad passed away and his Celebration of Life would be happening in the area that day.

Technically, it was in the opposite direction of where we were, but it was only an hour away. Totally worth it. On our way, we made sure to stop and have some of the best burgers around.

Despite the somber circumstances, it was really nice to see Bry and to introduce him to Keith.

Plus, I loved meeting his beautiful wife, Claudine!

Pinky's Fandance - Annie Parisse & Paul Sparks

Fun fact: I had no idea that Paul Sparks & Annie Parisse were married. In fact, I couldn't even place how I recognized Annie, but I just knew I'd seen her in something I loved.

Sure enough, she was the wise-cracking best friend in How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days - I LOVE that movie! And I'm SO freaking stoked to have met her!

Paul, of course, was on The Girlfriend Experience and I had the opportunity to meet him at last year's Emmy awards, as well. Both such nice people! They'd just gotten food and I totally interrupted them (oops), but they were so cool about it. Score!
