Wahoo! Another Doctor from Doctor Who! Of course, Matt Smith also plays Prince Philip on The Crown, but I don't really dig him on that show.

Still, it was awesome for him to come right over to the fans and sign and pose for pictures. Super cool guy!

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

Four Years

I can't believe it's already been four years since the very first time I met Keith. There I was at an autograph show...meeting someone was the furthest thing from my mind...and then poof. Everything changed. I can't explain how I knew, but from the moment we met, it was like, OK, now everything can begin. 

I've posted the video from that day on both Facebook and Instagram, so if you'd like to view it, please do so. I can't seem to figure out how to post it here (so, you'll have to suffer with that). 

Before I met Keith, I'd spent years in bad relationships, never thinking I was worthy of anyone who would actually love me and be good for me. Then, suddenly, there he was. I don't know how or why I got so lucky, but I met my best friend that day and I've never looked back.

Was our courtship perfect? Heck no. The day we met - while magical - ended with a huge thud of rejection. But when we saw each other again two months later (and, trust me, those were two LOOOONNG months), that was it for us. We were engaged a week after that and married six months later.

I have friends still struggling with the whole dating thing and I don't envy that drama a bit. I had plenty of it back then and I'm happy to be over it. All I know is that it took a long time to find my perfect man, but then suddenly there he was. When he was meant to be there. And I had to take a huge leap of faith, but it all paid off in the end. Sometimes you do silly things for the right reasons and I'm so happy that I did. Happy Meetaversary, babe. I love you!

Pinky's Fandance - Margaret Qualley

Because of our love for The Leftovers, I was really hoping to meet Margaret Qualley at Sundance this year. I figured I had a pretty good shot since she was in a few films.

As it so happens, she was pretty hard to spot. Luckily I saw her turn her head and recognized her from that, but then she started walking up a hill and I had to run to catch up to her and hope it was, in fact, her that I saw. She was so freaking tiny! I always get thrown off in person by how small actresses are in real life. She was nice enough to pose with me, though, so yay! :)

Top Five LOL Animals of the Day

R.I.P. Pat

My really good friend Judy's mom, Pat, passed away earlier this month and yesterday a wake was held in her honor in our hometown. Thankfully, we were able to attend.

Now, not only did I grow up in a fairly small town, but our group of friends was super tight. We still are. But we weren't only tight with each other, we all knew each other's families. So, this loss was hard. The first one of my friends to lose their mom. Pat was awesome - such a funny lady. This was us back when my BFF Lanette got married - feels like yesterday!

The wake was held at their local country club and it was a beautiful day and even better people.

These were the parents of one of our classmates who couldn't be there.

Geraldine! My cheerleading advisor and still very good friend.

While this isn't the best picture, it does have a majority of the people who were there.

This is my friend Lynn who I've known since Junior High.

My girls. We were all cheerleaders together back in high school.

As Keith was taking all the pictures, when we got to the car I realized we hadn't taken any together. Here's our attempt at a cute shot. So glad we were able to go and support our friends in their time of grief.

Pinky's Fandance - John Legend

So, I mainly noticed John Legend at Sundance because he had a personal security guard with him that's normally in Los Angeles at a ton of events. As soon as I saw the guard, I knew he must be with some VIP. 

Sure enough, there comes John Legend as nice as can be. I had no idea he was this nice! He was great in La La Land. Totally wish his wife was there, as well.

Someone posted this screen shot of Keith in a McDonald's commercial in the '80s. Isn't it awesome?!

I'm especially digging the hair. I would have been all over him back then! :)

I adore this dress.

This jumpsuit is horrible on its own and I don't know why anyone would choose to wear it to an event - let alone TWO people wearing it at the same time (and not on purpose). BLECH.
