4th of July Fun

On the actual 4th of July, we headed down to my brother's to celebrate his youngest son's first birthday. Although his actual birthday was yesterday, it seemed the best time to do it when everyone was already gathering together.

Sammy's Fandance - Dustin Hoffman

This has to be one of my favorite pictures ever - when Sammy met Dustin Hoffman. We were at a premiere and Dustin came up to me and asked if he could hold my dog. I'm pretty sure my reply was, "You're Dustin Hoffman, you can pretty much do anything." Maybe I just thought it.

In addition to this cute pic, there's video my friend has, as well, that shows just how long Dustin held little baby Sammy. Look at his sweet face. He was a baby!

Pre-4th Fun

Our friend Tracy invited us over to her pad in Venice for some pre-4th fun on Friday night.

As Steve was visiting from Texas (we all went to high school together), he joined the fun, as well, with his adorable daughters.

Pinky's Fandance - Marilyn Ghigliotti

We love Marilyn Ghigliotti. What started as a random meeting at an event a few years ago has now turned into a full-fledged friendship. Yesterday she even took some amazing headshots for Keith. She did a great job!

We share a publicist with Marilyn, so we see her fairly often. Such a sweetheart! We adore her.

Happy 1st Birthday, Andrew!!!

We were lucky to be able to celebrate with them on Saturday. Such a little cutie!

Unfortunately, he's not a big fan of my hair color. Whenever I get close to him, this happens. Boo. Anyway, happy birthday, Anders!

Top Five LOL Cats of the Day

Feeling HOT HOT HOT

The main difference we noticed when we moved to LA a year ago was that it's significantly hotter in LA than it is in the Ventura area. A LOT hotter.

During the winter months, it's easy to forget how miserable it is in the summer, but we've quickly been reminded that we're living on the surface of the sun.

I seriously feel like I may never cool down.

It's WAY too hot outside. Have I mentioned it's hot?

This is me 24 hours a day. UGH. Save us.

Pinky's Fandance - Suzanne Somers

Suzanne Somers is really nice. I'd met her years earlier and was lucky to get a picture with her, but it had been awhile.

I was thrilled to see her again at the after party for Dancing with the Stars. She looked aweome! Such a cute outfit. And just as before, super nice. Win!

My New Obsession

As if my love affair with Candy Crush Saga wasn't deep and true, they've now added a new way for me to obsess: the Sugar Track.

Every eight hours I can match Sugar Drops in order to win certain helpers for the game. Needless to say, every eight hours I'm swiping my iPhone trying to collect them all.
