Our Day at Disney

We spent our anniversary at Disneyland yesterday and it was just a perfect day. We went on a few choice rides, had a spectacular dinner at the Blue Bayou (thanks, Dad!), and then stayed at the Grand Californian Hotel, which you can get to right from the park in California Adventure. What a difference it made to just be able to "walk home" after a day at the park! Such a great day (although, really, any day spent with my love is perfect). We even got Happy Anniversary buttons, so everywhere we went people congratulated us. So fun!

Pinky's Fandance - Sam Rockwell

I don't know why, but apparently Sam doesn't have a great reputation in LA for being fan friendly. This surprises me because I've met him at Sundance on multiple occasions and have never had him be anything but cool to me. Sure, he usually only takes a picture with me and Heidels, but that's because we're the only ones who recognize him when he's all bundled up.

I love Sam Rockwell. I think he's so funny and talented. If you haven't seen him in Seven Psychopaths, I suggest running out and renting it RIGHT NOW.

R.I.P. Philip Seymour Hoffman

After hearing the sad news about Philip Seymour Hoffman's passing yesterday, it made me think of the time I'd met him at Sundance about ten years ago. He was cordial enough, asked his friend to take the picture, and was nice enough to stop for me, which I appreciated. In the years since I haven't seen him be all that friendly, but, apparently, he was dealing with issues no one knew anything about.

Still, it's undeniable that he was one of the greats. I never saw a movie of his where he didn't give it his all or completely get into character. Philip was supremely talented and deserved every accolade he received. It's a shame that we lost him so young. R.I.P.

Disney Anniversary

Although we're still battling our colds, we're going to rally and spend the day/night at Disneyland for our anniversary. So exciting! It's our first time staying at the hotel we chose and even have reservations at a fancy restaurant. I can't wait! I'm sure we'll have plenty of pics to share. Happy Anniversary, babe!

Pinky's Fandance - Wendie Malick

I have been wanting to meet Wendie Malick for seemingly forever. Not only was I a HUGE fan of Just Shoot Me, but she's the only cast member of Hot in Cleveland that I hadn't met yet.

The other day I saw her name on a list for an event along with Dan Lauria, who I also wanted to meet. Imagine my surprise when they arrived together! I was lucky enough to get a joint picture with them, but my camera had a problem and it erased the picture. BOO. Thankfully the problem was discovered while they were still around so I was able to get another picture with both. Phew! Love Wendie!

Happy Meet-Cute Anniversary, Babe!

Today is a year since I met my TLF, my husband, my best friend, Keith Coogan. I couldn't imagine a better partner, a better companion, and a better match for me than him and I'm soooooooo happy that I went to the LA Celebrity Show last year.

I Hope This Works - Our First Interview

I have to admit that I'm not a whiz when it comes to uploading videos. In fact, I think this is the first one I've ever even tried to upload on my own. But it's totally worth it because it's our video interview from the first day I met Keith!

Only a mere year ago, on February 2nd, 2013, I met the love of my life totally by chance at an autograph show. Yes, I know you're familiar with the story, but what you probably haven't seen is our awesome video together. Yes, the quality is poor and I have no idea where to look (I was trying something new by looking into the iPhone as we filmed - I recognize it looks odd in retrospect). The point of this is to show you how sparks flew immediately between us - hello, he kisses me at the end! If that's not true love, I don't know what is.

Pinky's Fandance - Chris O'Dowd

Chris O'Dowd is so funny in movies and on TV that I was just positive he'd be a laugh a minute in person.

Um....perhaps he was just cold. I'm not sure why he looks like he's in so much pain. Does it actually hurt to take a picture? At least he did it, though! :)
