I Can Haz Plushie???

Apparently Build-a-Bear has a brand new addition to their already amazing line-up made especially for me (at least that's the way I imagine it) named (wait for it.....) Pinky the Penguin.

Um, hello, it was named after me, so, obviously, it was based on me, right? (Big thanks to Heidels for bringing this to my attention).  

I mean, they've already got merchandise with my name all over it....a pink Hello Kitty with polka dot accents (um, HELLO...) 

And an adorable flamingo. Obviously, they're in love with me, right? :)

Pinky's Fandance - Andrew Lincoln

While I don't watch The Walking Dead (yet), I'm aware of how hugely popular it is. Every year I hear about the premiere, and every year I get frustrated because I always forget that the main guy on the show, Ricky, is played by none other than Andrew Lincoln from Love Actually.

Every year I say I'll go to the premiere next year and every year something else is going on. Truth be told, had my girl Lindsay from www.iamnotastalker.com come up, I would've blown it off yet again, but I'm stoked that I didn't because I was finally able to get my picture with Andrew! What a sweetie! When I said, "We love you!" he said, "I love you, too." When Lindsay told him how her husband proposed to her using cards like the ones Andrew used in Love Actually, he high fived her and said she was cool. Great guy!

Oriental Trading Company FAIL #2

What the hell is wrong with the Oriental Trading Company? Has their Quality Department quit for some reason? Obviously no one is checking the quality of their work.

Case in point: You may remember a few weeks ago when I received this tragedy (the K is all messed up) along with the shoddy engraving on the flashlights. Of course I immediately called and had them re-do it.....

Which brings us to attempt #2. Mind you, this was AFTER I made sure they put: "Please check for quality before leaving the facility" on the order. Maybe they can't read? Not only is the K messed up yet again, but the whole placement of our names is wrong. Can't they get anything right? I'm so disgusted by their work. Luckily the flashlights are a million times better, so the only people suffering from their lack of abilities are me and Keith. At least it doesn't affect our wedding party. I don't even know if I want to call again - will it even help?!?!

Keith and I were talking the other day about those old "Love Is..." comic strips that we remembered from when we were little. Weren't they the cutest?

Of course I love them even more now....especially when they're so true!

I can't even believe how lucky I am to have found Keith....I just feel like smiling all the time.

Pinky's Fandance - Alex Karpovsky

I was really looking forward to meeting some of the Girls cast at the Emmys since they film in NYC and aren't in LA all that often.

While I didn't meet as many as I would've liked, I was able to meet Alex Karpovsky who plays Ray on the popular series. Alex was super nice and we ended up seeing him all over the venue. At one point I asked him where the rest of his cast was (but for whatever reason he didn't bring them to me. Bummer!). :)

Why Am I Out of the House?

I've gotta admit - that trip kinda did me in. I am SO freaking tired and it doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon. This weekend is my bachelorette party and every day is wedding prep time. 

By the time I got home from all my errands last night, I just wanted to curl up in a ball and go to sleep. Luckily my loving fiancee is totally fine with that - he's such a huge support. I can't wait until October 26th! :)

Top Five FAILS of the Day

Loves It!

One of the things I've been most wanting to do was framing our Save the Date along with the wedding invitation. With some of the Amazon gift cards we got at my bridal shower (thanks, Vauri & Lori!), I was finally able to get the frame I've been lusting over.

I love it! We still need to tweak the picture position a smidge, but overall I think it's going to look awesome. :) Hooray! Next up? Wedding pics! Speaking of which....Happy October! Or, as I like to say, Happy Wedding Month!

Pinky's Fandance - Robert Smigel

Robert Smigel is a comedy genius. Not only is he the voice of Triumph the Insult Dog (one of the funniest puppets ever), but he does those hilarious cartoons on SNL. 

When I asked him for a picture, his reaction was, "With me?" Um, yeah! Hello! Don't you know who you are? :)
