Especially fantastic? The two leads. Wow, talk about onscreen chemistry! They both just lit up the screen with their magnificent presence and could relate a million emotions with their faces - no words necessary. I really didn't think I'd like a silent film, but in this case I'll make an exception. Plus, the dog, Uggie, is the cutest! He was a huge bonus!
Now I'm even more stoked about meeting the lead actor, Jean Dujardin, a few weeks back. Last night I was able to meet a few more cast members, but Berenice, sadly, didn't come (that's the one I wanted to meet). Oh well, I'm sure I'll see her another day. If you get a chance, make time for The Artist! You won't be disappointed.
Mary starred in a film called Smashed about an alcoholic who gets clean and loses her husband and she knocked it out of the park. Great job! In person she's as sweet as can be - plus, she stayed for the entire festival, which is always a win. Nicely done, Mary!
I've spent the majority of the morning listening to one guy in particular blast whale noises or alien sightings or some crap from his computer. I'm not sure why none of these people are familiar with headphones, but I'm about to lose it. After listening to it for a good, oh, twenty minutes, he's now debating the validity of the alien sightings and pontificating about the demise of the world. STOP THE INSANITY! Calgon, take me away!

I've had this license plate frame for as long as I can remember - maybe even since I could first drive. See how faded out the pink is around the outside? You couldn't even tell it was once pink. Due to the excessive cold, the bottom part of the frame fell right off. Stupid snow. Stupid cold. Boo. I miss it already.
Mehcad played "Eggs" on my beloved True Blood and is amazingly cool and sweet in real life. Also amazing? Not only did he "retweet" me yesterday on Twitter, but he followed me, as well! See, we might just be TLF after all (again, I wish....). :)

It's funny because we were literally just talking about how Tommy Lee was our "unicorn" and then I spotted him walking down the street. I ran up to him and said I was a big fan and followed him on Twitter and I'm pretty sure I talked non-stop for over a minute straight. Finally when I somehow managed to shut up, he looked at me, "OK, let's do this." Oh, OK. Guess all that begging wasn't necessary. Duh.
